With a lot of very interesting and important things going on, I find myself reflecting and writing more. My latest piece, The Loss of Trust in the Democratic Party and Next Steps, deals with the latest developments affecting the domestic political order. The article looks at the issues pertaining to the Democratic Party choosing its leadership, which is the latest important issue that will affect the domestic order. At the end of this piece, I ask three questions which I'd love you to answer. Of course, your more extensive thoughts in the comments are always welcome.

The silver lining is at least we should be able to avoid a Civil War. The worst thing that could happen would be a tightly contested race where both sides suspect the other of cheating. Bidens dementia and the Democratic Party’s cover up suggest a blowout in favor of Team Trump. Since an easy path to power is too hard for most political parties to pass up regardless of intellectual capacity, may I suggest a way forward for the good of the American people? I suggest that it is time for a mandatory retirement age of 80 years old for all members of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branch. Clearly the temptation to hold onto power is to much for common sense to intervene. The People of the United States deserve proper representation. The Biden administration is a disgrace for pushing this farce on the American people, the people deserve better.

It’s funny that a nation that watched and chose a different path to historical nations finds itself faced with the very same challenges. This is the dilemma of economics as the same is caused by a flawed system of distribution and wealth creation. Mostly caused by not chipping in one’s own fair share. This works the same from the haves and have nots both are not sticking to their end of the bargain both scream unfairness yet both exist only for the very nation that nurtures them even now. All the politicians do is amp up that feeling of injustice based on who gives the most likes and attention. No one is paying attention to the global wrangling going on and that’s because of a lack of intelligence at work. Sinking everyone by rocking the boat too much by fighting over who gets to row.

No No Yes I am unclear by what you mean when you say "almost fascist republican party", also, what is frail and enigmatic of the democratic party? The democratic party seems like anything but frail and there is nothing enigmatic about them, they have caused there own issues through a web of lies. While I agree with the majority of this article, I disagree with your opinions of the parties. With that said, a viable third party candidate would be beneficial, however I believe there is an opportunity for a traditional blue dog democrat, if there are any left in the USA, to appeal to the masses.

typical ray dalio, you fail completely to apply ANY of those maxims that you preach daily to your sycophants or to that of the Democrat Party , another demonstration of how you have lost the feeling on the street, the temperament of the people and the groundswell of disgust for the people of this party of elitists with which you identify. to see you advising leaders around the world proves to many that your views do not represent that of the people of the country you live in but that of a globalist cabal . your repeated references of ‘fascist’ Republicans is deeply repugnant, divisive, disgraceful and out of touch with reality. your anti-Semitic tones are duly noted ; you cannot equivocate ‘fascism’ as you analogize the term with Republicans. respect withdrawn permanently

Mr. Dalio, you are not alone. I responded to a similar post from Lex Fridman a few weeks back that we're living in an episode of South Park, where voters have to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich. (For the folks reading this -- it's a real episode, you can google it.) We used to call the Soviet Union a gerontocracy. Well, we have to take a deep hard look at ourselves these days, besides Biden and Trump, Nancy Pelosi is 84 and Mitch McConnell is 82. My answers to your questions are: No / No / Yes. But it's almost impossible for a 3rd party candidate to win a presidential election. Even a governorship is extremely difficult. I personally only remember Jesse "the Body" Ventura in recent history, though ChatGPT was able to give me 3. Three out of 50 states in the past 40 years...

Thank you Ray Dalio, Bridgewater; and I would like to evaluate this read further. There is an Energy Transition underway, & also the IIJA & Building on it's Continued Implementation, along with other Green Bond & Private Credit for the Yields. Moreover, the MDB & DFI Agency's will be deploying more capital, & we'll have the exchanging, & liquidity of our Memberships & the SDR's; together with building on more Global Financial Instruments, & to re-cycle, the [Newer Structured Funding & Exiting the Legacy Assets]. You've made some valid & great points, however, f/me, [I would want our President, to have all Doctor's evaluations; physical, mental or otherwise]; along w/his strengthening of their Secretary, & Cabinet Teams, if needed, & their newer Bench too, if possible; and to continue on, for another four years. Also, I'm more, "in the middle", with all the politics. [The Democratic Party itself, will be an entirely separate set of issues, that should be mostly resolvable]. You're scenario may be different, specifically, on the picking of another candidate. "With this case, it's more a personal decision, & using one's own reasonable & best judgment type of decisions; & it's difficult. Best, Dean A.

Wouldn't most rational people at this point say No, No, Yes?

THE REAL DANGER TO AMERICA its not who next president will be or Chinese, debt. or anything, The truth is, all these concerns rank secondary in importance.  THE RULE : THE FEAR OF LOSING ADVANTAGES FOR SOME, + COMBINED WITH REPRESSION AND ACCUMULATED PRESSURES FOR OTHERS = A SUDDEN EXPLOSION With over 400 million weapons at cheap prices, widespread drug use, economic problems, and inconsistent leadership, even a minor incident can trigger the suppressed barbaric instincts within those who feel injustice. For instance, if Biden or Trump were to reject election results immediately after they're announced, or if someone signals their supporters directly or indirectly, or if a racially motivated killing occurs, it could lead to widespread chaos and instability. This is the real danger—it's the mindset that exists within part of society, those waiting for an opportunity to vent their anger. The danger lies within, not outside. If you're not internally strong, you won't be able to face external challenges.  Therefore, everyone must respect the constitution as much as possible and understand this well, so that the torch passed down by the founding fathers remains held high in the sky.
