I'm excited to share this video, in which Emirates, one of the world's largest airlines, discusses how it is working with Shell to make sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) available at more airports. This follows our earlier announcement this month that Shell supplied the airline’s largest SAF purchase to date, enabling Emirates to fly with SAF from London Heathrow Airport for the first time. Watch Adel Al Redha, Deputy President and COO of Emirates talk about how the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is vital to the airline’s sustainability efforts. Emirates recognises that prosperity and sustainability travel together and is working with Shell on the technical, logistical and safety aspects of making SAF available at key hubs. This collaboration is one example of how Shell is supporting customers as they reduce their emissions and how Shell is working with leading companies to support the energy transition. Emirates will grow with shell through sustainability of airline.
Good to know. Let us catch up whenever you are here the next time.

2moComplete #greenwash. Emirates has 295 new planes on order (mostly wide bodies). It doesn't have anywhere near the volumes of SAF on order to meet that increase in additional fuel demand. Sum total is that Emirates climate impact will go up. As will Shells, unless it pledges to NOT supply that additional demand for fossil kerosene. Which it won't.
