Feeling inspired by the power of #trust and ways to take action from PwC’s #TrustLeadershipInstitute Trust Academy. It’s been an incredible week of deep insights and collaboration — and we’ve heard from outstanding speakers including Niren Chaudhary, Chairman of the Board at Panera Brands, Kimberley Goode, Chief Communications and Social Impact Officer at BMO and many others.  As we wrapped yesterday, Oscar Munoz, former CEO and Chairman of United Airlines, joined us for a candid conversation on trusted leadership. These takeaways really resonated with me: 👂📖“Listen, learn and only then can you lead effectively.” Trust is earned when people feel heard — it demonstrates respect, transparency and caring.  🔬“Proof, not promises” is a foundation for building credibility and earning trust. It’s important to say what you mean, mean what you say — and follow it with concrete actions. 👩💼👨💼🏢 Earn the trust of your employees first, then your customers. With keen interest, I read the Senior Executive's post about the most impactful advice L&D leaders have received in their careers. It got me thinking, what advice would I give my younger self at the outset of my journey? 📌 Encourage diverse perspectives: what resonates with me the most is the significance of diverse perspectives in problem-solving. Actively seeking and incorporating a variety of viewpoints enriches the learning experience and drives innovation within the team. 📌 Embrace failure as a learning opportunity: I learned that setbacks are stepping stones to success. Encouraging a culture where mistakes are seen as valuable lessons promotes resilience and continuous improvement. 📌 Communication is key: I learned that effective communication is at the core of successful leadership. Clear and transparent communication builds trust, enhances collaboration, and ensures everyone is aligned with the organization's learning goals.
