Despite undergoing surgery, I'm excited to announce that I will still be speaking at the PAYMENTS & SECURITY EMA CONFERENCE. This prestigious conference is celebrating its 24th edition. A highlight of this year's event is the grand celebration of the 25th anniversary of the EMA Association, established in 1999. Throughout its existence, the association has provided unwavering support to the Ukrainian banking and payment industry. Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to collaborate on this work. In this work, we propose a bi-directional spatial and channelwise parallel attention based network that effectively learns discriminative features for diabetic retinopathy grading. The proposed model is able to efficiently detect small-sized lesions and demonstrates better interpretability. ML algorithm accurately predicts adverse endovascular treatment events within a 1 year follow up period. The idea first came up due to the lack of outcome prediction tools for peripheral artery disease (PAD) treatment. Without knowing the impact, carrying out such operations is risky. Inattention during this event may lead to patient fatalities. So researchers developed an ML algorithm to handle the task efficiently. Potential applications of predictive language models in diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases are countless. My prediction- this tech will inevitably elevate this sector of healthcare. AI tools don't have the creativity and new ways of thinking that we humans have.🤖 I heard a story about a cardiac surgeon that performed the first open-heart surgery.❤️ He said that he uses on a daily basis some tools based on AI. During a discussion, he mentioned the first time they tried the procedure. He stated that if humans did not possess the courage to bring together a team of multidisciplinary experts and take risks associated with open-heart surgery to ensure success, a machine would not be able to do it either. This is because machines are programmed to calculate the probability of success versus failure and are not capable of taking risks.📉 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. Machine are not subjected to responsibility, they are advisors, tools. This leads to a lack of innovation. This is a crucial point to consider when discussing the possibility of AI taking over humanity. However, I believe that jobs that require no specialized skill set, and that can be performed without the use of 🧠 human intelligence, are meant to be eliminated. This is a significant advancement for society, but it may be a separate topic altogether. Or is it?

Is Shockwave lithotripsy Really Obsolete?? Or Powerful companies and Businesses behind replacing it? Just a thought. The same size Ureteric and renal stone in most of the hospitals would need 2-3 sessions prolonging treatment duration and more risk of complications because of its invasive nature. We still use Shockwave for such stones with brilliant clearance rate in Saudi German Hospital Dubai. while ureteroscopy and laser lithotripsy offer advantages in certain cases, Shockwave lithotripsy remains a valuable and effective treatment option for many patients with kidney and ureteral stones. Its non-invasive nature, lower risk profile, and proven efficacy for smaller stones make SWL a preferred choice in many clinical scenarios. Companies continue to innovate and improve ureteroscopy and laser technologies, but the benefits of SWL in terms of safety, simplicity, and cost-effectiveness make it a compelling option for stone treatment. Many AI-based tools and apps have been created to help with prognosis and diagnosis.
