I worked for NATS and was very proud of my time with them, including representing them on the international stage, but they did inherit or maintain many of what I described as Civil Service mentalities and/or processes. I wonder whether these aspects reflected in the article (whether true and impacting) are a longer term continuation of the same. Business culture is an extremely interesting factor in business success... many lessons to be learnt here!

Recalling the sad accident in #Tempi (Greece) in February 2023, Presidents and General Secretaries of the Train Drivers' Unions belonging to ALE - Federation of European Train Drivers Unions, show their support unanimously. A real #investment in the Greek railway system is needed, not only in economic terms but also in material and human resources. The bodies responsible for #safety are many times, undersized & understaffed. Accidents happen in a chain of events, which require an #independent and thorough investigation, to put in place the means to #prevent a similar accident from happening again. We encourage the European institutions to continue to pay attention to this and other situations that unbalance the European railway system.
