Raise your glass even higher with Vincenzo Arnese Director of Wine at Raffles London at The OWO Hailing from Naples, Vincenzo inherited his interest in wine from his grandfather and went on to study hospitality and specialise as a sommelier. After graduating, Vincenzo travelled the globe working at prestigious hotels in Switzerland, England and Australia. Arriving in London, he took the position of Head Sommelier & Wine Buyer with Heston Blumenthal and subsequently worked as Head Sommelier at the famous three-Michelin star Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester. Vincenzo is an esteemed and decorated expert in his field. He is the judge for many wine competitions, including the Decanter World Wine Awards, IWSC International Wine & Spirit Competition, Sommelier Wine Awards and the London Wine Competition. Today, he brings his expertise and enthusiasm to Raffles London at The OWO as the hotel’s Wine Director. Vincenzo’s passion truly knows no bounds, and we look forward to supporting him at the Best Sommelier Europe & Africa 2024, where he will be representing the United Kingdom.
