Our Huntsville Young Professionals group rocked it at High Point Climbing and Fitness last night, literally! Our employee-owners took on the climbing walls and conquered new heights together. It's always awesome to see our team bond outside the office and build those connections that make Radiance such a great place to work.

What did we do at our Team Offsite? Here's a glimpse - 1. Networking: Our Sales, Training, and Support teams joined forces to strengthen our collaboration, because we hardly get a chance to meet during our travel. 2. Trying a new Team Activity: We dove into a unique activity blending sustainability and tech. Because after all, our internal team gets the first chance to experience our cutting edge programs. 3. Getting Active and Competitive: Sports aren't just for fun (though we had loads of that!). They reveal our true selves and foster camaraderie like nothing else can. And that's why we picked up Olympics challenge. 4. Reaffirming Our Core Values: Taking time to revisit and reaffirm them was a reminder of our unique identity. Because that's our differentiator. Our offsite wasn't just about escaping the office—it was about strengthening bonds, fostering growth, and recharging our collective spirit. Here's to more adventures ahead! 🎉 #OffsiteAdventure #TeamBuilding #FutureSuccess

Giddy up for a company offsite in the Rockies! Propeller had a blast at our offsite in Estes Park last weekend. It was the perfect opportunity to recharge and reconnect outside of work. Here are just a few of the benefits of company offsites: 🌲Improved communication and collaboration: When we're outside of our usual work environment, we're more open to new ideas and perspectives. This can lead to better communication and collaboration within the team. 🌲Increased trust and camaraderie: When we spend time together in a social setting, we get to know each other on a more personal level. This can help to build trust and camaraderie within the team. 🌲Boosted morale and productivity: Company offsites can be a lot of fun, and they can help to boost morale and productivity. When we're feeling happy and refreshed, we're more likely to be productive at work. Company offsites are so important for team building. They allow us to get to know each other more personally, build trust, and collaborate in new and creative ways. What do you do to build your team? Shout out to my cornhole partners (Michael Macias, MBA & Kaleigh Schermer), the horseback riding crew (Cameron Simmons, MS = best dressed 🤠 ), and the short (high intensity) hiking team 🏔. Special thanks to the planning committee. ❤️ #teambuilding #companyculture #peoplefirst

We would never recommend something to our clients that we weren't prepared to do ourselves. Here's a snapshot of the last FiveAndCo offsite where we reminded ourselves of what it means to thrive (to do well for the business and feel well) in our current context. #leadership #pharma #values
Dedicated time together as a team 😍 Fantastic two days in Birmingham with the Five and Co family. It has made me reflect - what is it that makes these times together as a team really helpful and productive? For me, this time felt significant for us as a group. There was an energy and focus that gave us forward momentum - it started with a well thought out agenda and good preparation, we made sure we were having critical conversations, focussed on the right things that will help us to do well. Every team member contributed and their was some really healthy conflict - we disagreed on quite a lot! But the camaraderie and social cohesion was really strong. I felt very safe to share my perspective. Our values flowed through our conversations - Be bold, be real, keep it simple. Our conversations were ambitious but we never ended without knowing what we need to do next. We had fun together and deepened our relationships - continuing to build our understanding of how we get the best and support each other really well. I have returned really motivated for the next few months! I would genuinely love to hear what it is that makes dedicated time together with your team important? Or what role has it/does it play for you? Thanks for a great two days Tim Curry Nick Green Svetlina Jeanneret Jane Fardon Ruth & Jess #team #offsite #thriving

You know what's pretty cool? Strong leadership that recognises leadership potential, and lifts you up. I'm two weeks into a brand new journey. New environments are scary. Meeting new people is daunting. I've had a lot of change over my twenty something years and sometimes I feel like it never gets easier. But this incredible pool of talent known as Battenhall gave me a platform from the first day I walked through the door... and they've taught me something👇 When you start a new job, don't try to prove your worth. Shake off the pressure to be confident and to be seen. Your value isn't in your status as the new talent as that will expire. It's in your authenticity. Success will show up when you do, in the unpolished, grounded version of you. YOU were hired for a reason. Cringey 🫣 ? No, just honest. Thanks Drew Benvie for your trust. Let's wow that new client 😎 #newjob #leadership
Founder & CEO at Battenhall. 2024 Campaign Magazine & Sabres PR CEO of the Year, PRCA Outstanding Contribution, NMA #1 Social Media Consultant in the UK, PRWeek Power Book 14 yrs running.
It was so energising to bring our global teams together physically and virtually for our first company Town Hall of the year this week. New starters sat next to old timers is amazing to help build team culture. That's Charlie Sharpe in grey, in his 10th year at Battenhall after starting work at the agency at the tender age of 17, sat next to one of our newest team members Isabella B. who has just won her first client in her second week here. And me looking on in pride at our 60+ colleagues dialling in and co-presenting from across the world. Here's to 2024 surrounded by positivity and talent.

✍ 'Step into the zone of awkward team building and tough presentations – they do pay off' | Writes Helena Morrissey I recently surprised everyone who knows me by joining in an indoor skydiving “team-building” #activity at a company I chair. I should clarify that the indoor version is nothing like actual skydiving – instead of leaping from a plane, I hovered a mere few feet off the ground in a wind tunnel, aided by an instructor. Even so, I was well beyond my comfort zone, nervous about making a complete idiot of myself, especially in front of 25 #colleagues – most of whom I’d only met earlier the same day. But I am so glad I did it. My technique was lousy, but the satisfaction of overcoming my fear, combined with bonding with new (and in some cases, equally terrified) colleagues outweighed any embarrassment. #TeamBuilding antics aside, we need to be willing to step outside our comfort zone at work if we’re to #progress in our careers, whether we’re in our 20s or 50s. No one can really improve by staying cosy and comfortable – we need to explore and take risks, pushing out our (often self-imposed) boundaries. Read more 👇 https://lnkd.in/emXy4sFq
