“In a flourishing workplace, people talk about the work and they talk about ideas, and they’re energized and excited by their ideas, by the work, and by what they’re doing.” This such a good piece. The power dynamics of boss/worker are inherently odd, and I love when people reimagine ways about how work could be. It’s where we spend most of our lives, after all. All managers should be thinking about that, imo!

I'm excited to finally share this feature on #toxic workplaces, my first cover story for The Walrus . This might be my most LinkedIn-appropriate piece ever. I connected with some of the interviewees on this platform, and I've come across lots of discussions here about this very topic. Big thank yous to Harley Rustad and Carmine Starnino for the edits, Colby Payne for the fact check, and Meredith Holigroski for the stellar art direction. #toxicworkplace #workculture https://lnkd.in/g-5Y3jc2
