Getting on stage in front of a lot of people isn't easy, but the presenters at the Spatial Data Science Conference made it look that way. After an incredible two and a half years at Multiverse, I'm thrilled to announce my new role leading CARTO's global marketing team. At Multiverse, I had the true privilege of assembling talented teams from scratch, combining seasoned leaders I knew like Vik Mundkur, Adi Rao, and Grace Myers with amazing new faces such as Tim Smith, Phoebe Beasley, Moises Cohen, and Edmund Davison. Together, we achieved exponential growth, boosting marketing revenue by 6x and apprentice applications by 12x in just one year. Now, at CARTO, I can't wait to demonstrate the transformative power of modern spatial analytics to business leaders worldwide. My lifelong passion for geography, nurtured from my days as a navigator for the Rucksack Club at Cotham School [see photo below 🙂 ]to my studies at Durham University, make this just a perfect match. I’m hiring across London, New York, and Madrid - so don’t hesitate to reach out if spatial analysis is compelling to you too!

As we conclude National Apprenticeship Week, we've revealed a billion-dollar opportunity for the US workforce. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo put it best in her address to Multiverse apprentices: it's an opportunity that's good for workers, good for businesses, and good for America's competitiveness. 🚀 📊 Our marketing campaign was fuelled by groundbreaking data from Multiverse and the The Burning Glass Institute, confirming apprenticeships as a strategic investment in the nation's future — capable of accelerating careers for 128 million US workers, and creating $28.5 billion in economic gains in 2024 alone. https://lnkd.in/e6G6s8vn 🌟We also heard real-world stories of impact from learners like Toby. Transitioning from a Taco Bell shift manager to a software engineer for Yum! Brands, Toby's reskilling journey epitomizes the potential for career reshaping through apprenticeships. https://lnkd.in/exaqBtJF 🇺🇸 Multiverse apprentices like Aris were recognized on a national stage from leaders at the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Commerce, and U.S. Department of Education. This acknowledgment underscores the significance of apprenticeships and their broader impact on the economy. 📑 And, we dove deeper into the transformative power of apprenticeships, with a new whitepaper, showcasing a business case that leaders can't afford to ignore. https://lnkd.in/edGzfZrj It's clear that we stand at the threshold of a change that promises benefits for workers, businesses, and America's global competitiveness. Let's seize this opportunity together! Enormous thanks to everyone who brought this to life: Cheston McGuire, Tim Smith, Asha Aravindakshan, Rose Choi Marques, Sidney Bynum, Yasmin McColl-B, Adaobi Ezinma Oguagha, MPA, michelle wells, Isabel, and Claire Williams!
