Earlier this week I shared we made the incredibly difficult decision to close Tiny Earth Toys. Throughout this transition, there have been many challenges and a few bright spots. What has kept me afloat during this time is my co-founder Catherine Bhattachar. Working with Catherine was one of the biggest highlights of building Tiny Earth and she is now looking for her next challenge. While I am deeply sad to lose the day-to-day collaboration of such an impactful partner, I know she is going to drive incredible impact wherever she lands. If you are looking for a transformational leader with cross-functional strengths in strategy, product, operations and process from startup to scale up , please reach out to me for an intro. She is: ✅ Brilliant but hilarious ✅ Pragmatic but deeply empathetic ✅ Direct but compassionate ✅ Filled with integrity ✅ Deeply motivated to make a difference ✅ Always in pursuit of excellence At Tiny Earth she: 📈 Hired, onboarded and led 15+ individual contributors, managers and contractors in operations, customer success, product, engineering 📈 Developed digital and physical products 📈 Led M&A for successful asset sales during our close 📈 Built all internal processes and systems 📈 Owned analytics and reporting for company and board PLEASE comment, like or tag a hiring manager to help spread the word about this incredible woman.

I'm saddened to hear that you've had to make the tough decision to close things down. It takes a lot of courage to recognize when something has gone as far as it makes sense to go given the circumstances. I'll second the insightful skills Catherine Bhattachar brings so if it helps anyone in my network find her (and her them), I hope the comment helps with the connection. Onward!

Rachael Classi, you're the most holistically supportive leader, manager, mentor, and partner someone could have. The past few years with you at Tiny Earth Toys have been the greatest of my professional life as I have learned so much from you. As sad as I am to lose the day-to-day of working together, I'm excited to see what's next.

Catherine is an amazing leader and I learned so much working under her for even a short period of time. I definitely agree with the note about her being both empathetic and pragmatic! I watched her beautifully navigate a period of intense change as the Tiny Earth Toys business model pivoted last year, and while I’m sad to hear the journey for the company is ending, I know Catherine is destined for great things and that anyone would be privileged to have her join their team! Wishing you the best in whatever comes next, Catherine Bhattachar!

Catherine is a rockstar — highly analytical, funny, and can zoom in and out between business strategy and details seamlessly. Also, she is improving her tennis game! Any organization would be lucky to partner with her.

Rachael, it is so beautiful how you continuously show up to recognize the people in your intimate and broader camps. It speaks volumes about yourself as a leader and individual. I am sorry to read the news about Tiny Earth Toys but know this strength of character will continue to serve you deeply beyond this chapter. 🫶

I wish you both the best going forward. I absolutely loved your dollhouse concept and your overall mission of reducing waste created by toys. You are an inspiration. I hope the transition to your next adventure is as smooth as possible.

Wait, what about the doll house!? Is that going to be launched under a different umbrella?
