The Eye-table allows fast and easy imaging while taking into account the future effect of the shell on the body. The table also permits changing the breast shape for optimal radiation (e.g. pushing it sideways). These ideas are patent pending (national phase). Their proprietary software (trade secret) embeds multiple optimizations into the VENUS shell design that have a specific RT purpose (Patent pending). #controversial #triggerwarningforsome I just had a great meeting with a customer today, who said "you all at United Imaging must be doing a bunch of great things!" I asked why she said that, and she proceeded to tell me that the other 2 major imaging vendors recently spent about 90% of the time in their meetings with her, talking about United Imaging, and only about 10% of their time actually talking to her about their own products and company. She commented how displeased and offended she was about the bad-mouthing they were doing, and it actually made her lean in more to what we are doing. 😉 Since RSNA is just around the corner, I have but 2 questions (for those willing to answer): 1) How do buyers or customers feel about other vendors trying to "unsell" another vendor's product or company, by bad-mouthing or spreading false information about them, rather than just sticking with selling their own product/company? And... 2) Are the leaders of these large, successful Imaging companies really training and condoning their sales folks to engage in such behavior, as a good strategy? Just wondering...
