Social Security can be so confusing with all of its rules. If you’re a married couple you have even MORE options to chose from. Who files first? Do we file at the same time? Should we start at 62 or wait until 70? Did you know who draws what when can effect what the surviving spouse gets once the first spouse passes? If you want to get a handle on how to BEST maximize YOUR benefit based on YOUR situation let us run a Social Security analysis for you and let you know what makes the most sense for YOUR specific situation!
It's Taco Tuesday 🌮, and David loves tacos just about as much as he loves financial education. So, today, Let's Taco 'Bout...Social Security in honor of Social Security Month! #Nashville #Charlotte #FinancialAdvisor

LensLock Donates Body Camera Technology to New Hampshire Police Academy — PRBuzz.co — Boston #Globe Reports The New #Hampshire #Police #Standards and #Training Council #Approved #Equipment and #Software Donations CONCORD, #NH May #6 #2024 #Students attending New Hampshire Police Academies will #soon get hands-on training with body-cameras, docking stations, and #related software allowing replays of training #exercises Police #Academy students will also #receive training on body-worn #camera #statues for New Hampshire so that they may #develop #best practices for scenarios they may #encounter out in the field. LensLock will be supplying #16 #body #cameras and the supporting docking stations, as well as LensLocker, LensLock's cloud-based digital evidence management software, free of charge. "We're not asking for anything in return, at all," LensLock's regional director of law enforcement relations, Arthur Ryan, told the council Tuesday. "I know that sounds crazy, but literally, we're not." While the state of New Hampshire does not currently mandate the use of body cameras, the state established a grant fund in 2021 and strongly encourages the technology for state law enforcement agencies. Adoption in the state is strong and one of the largest agencies, the New Hampshire State Police, requires cameras as part of each trooper's uniform. Boston Globe reports: John V. Scippa, director of the Police Standards and Training Council, said the donation will give New Hampshire's academies equipment they have wanted but otherwise could not afford. "There is tremendous value in this," he said. "It's something we've been kicking around for a long time." About LensLock LensLock, Inc. is a privately held, law enforcement technology company specializing in body-worn and in-car dash cameras. As a Microsoft Azure Government Cloud partner, LensLock's secure video cloud management solution is FBI CJIS-compliant, reliable, user-friendly, and affordable. LensLock's mission is to make the lives of law enforcement officers easier and safer. LensLock builds innovative, cost-effective technology solutions specifically designed for law enforcement agencies, and delivers best-in-class service each and every day.

CRR Fire & Life Safety Educator NFPA Michigan Rep for Public Education, MI Prevention Outreach Educator, Entertainment Specialist, Performer, Producer, Musician , Artist, Composer, CFI
Oakland County Veterans Resource Fair had assistance from Pioneering Technology Corp. via MI Prevention and their representative Stan Barnes were just one of the volunteers today who were onsite to serve over 430 Veterans and their families. Will Boake, Kevin Callahan, Reid Johnston and John Bergsma were there in spirit. The SmartBurner and Smart-Micro technology and information was a huge hit! CRR, Community Risk Reduction, is in full bloom. Not a single fire has started on a cooktop using SmartBurner’s technology. Cooking is the leading cause of all household fires, the leading cause of fire-related injury, and the second leading cause of fire-related death. SmartBurner helps save people and property by helping to prevent these fires from starting in the first place. SmartBurner is unlike other conventional fire prevention products in that it does not wait for a fire to start before taking action. Instead, SmartBurner prevents cooking fires from starting without the user even knowing they were at risk of a fire in the first place. Here are a few of the other resources that were present at the Veterans Resource Fair: *Oakland County Veterans’ Services—Providing information and claims assistance regarding Veteran benefits and giving away Meijer vouchers—to be eligible you must be a Veteran and Oakland County resident, and you must present a copy of your DD214 *Oakland County Michigan Works!—Providing Veterans and their families with career planning, training programs, job search resources and the opportunity to meet with an employment specialist *Oakland County Neighborhood & Housing Development—Helping residents with housing counseling *Oakland County Parks —Giving out free annual vehicle permits. Learn more here: tinyurl.com/p7awv8pk *Detroit VA Healthcare System—Offering registration help and exams for non enrolled Veterans *Oakland Community Health Network—Addressing any behavioral health issues and concerns, including behavioral health needs for children *VA Suicide Prevention—Providing free gun locks *Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic—Scheduling free dental appointments *Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency—Printing DD214’s on site *Ride SMART—Providing information on their Veteran transportation program. MI Prevention is hoping to secure additional funding opportunities to offer SmartBurrner Technology and Resources to more of our Veterans, seniors and others who fit certain criteria.
