No-show rates are no joke! We actually have a calculator on our website that shows the direct correlation of no-show rates to how many people could have received care and how much revenue is lost based on the average $74 visit. This white paper is filled with tips on how to reduce no-show rates in 2024 -- give it a read! 😊

Billing for integrated behavioral health services, which combine primary care and mental health services, can be complex due to the blending of medical and mental health billing codes. Providers should familiarize themselves with collaborative care management (CoCM) codes and other relevant billing codes for integrated services.

Happy to see that BH care is getting more integrated with underlying medical conditions. Access has also greatly improved, but more work needs to be done. Individuals with depression have a 40% higher risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. It’s facts like these that underscore why behavioral and mental health care are so essential to each person’s overall health and well-being. And that’s why it’s important that we work together to make integrated, comprehensive mental health services the norm. Aetna has developed some innovative programs (like Mind Companion) to ensure all our members get the treatment and care they need and deserve. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealth #Aetna #CVSHealth
Today, on #WorldMentalHealthDay, I want to bring awareness to the importance of promoting better access to mental and behavioral health care. Too often, these needs go unmet and national statistics show that the millions of adults who have received mental health services experience delays in scheduling appointments and filling prescriptions. I’m proud of the work that Aetna, a CVS Health Company, has accomplished to expand and enhance resources that help our members address their mental health and well-being, like Mind Companion. It’s just one of the many programs we offer that helps connect people with timely access to in-network care, provides support along the mental well-being continuum, and offers tools that ease the burden of navigating different types of therapy, care modalities and providers.
