Helping infrastructure businesses create enterprise value... Strategy | Operations | Communication | Engagement | Change
The only constant in life is change. Honestly, I thrive on change - solving wicked problems makes me inordinately excited. I think COVID brought adaptation to the forefront of everyone’s minds - we had no choice really and all got on with adapting to our "new normal". However, the conversation about "life after COVID" (when we could all finally return to the office) underscored an implicit belief that the situation is entirely anomalous, something that needs to be weathered before returning to a “new new normal” with low levels of change, uncertainty, and disruption. Yet, all indications are that increasing volatility, complexity, and rapid change IS the new normal. I could get into detail about the ways that COVID and the "new new normal" are still changing and shaping the corporate landscape, not least of which is the acceleration of digitial and AI, but I will save that for another time. Right now, normal or not, all Australia infrastructure businesses need to be considering new ways to drive change within their organisations — new ways that mobilise employees to actively participate in gathering insights, creating solutions, and providing leadership. There is a difference between thriving and surviving. EALA can help.
In today's ever evolving corporate landscape, navigating change is a given. Succesful adaptation, however, is not. When you look across any modern industry or large organisation, the common ground is that most are attempting to keep up with the speed (and complexity) of change. To compete, businesses must constantly be considering how to move from "where we are" to "where we want to be". Some might call this transformation, but it can be more simply summarised as success. This success hinges on the intricate relationships between and alignment of strategy, operational excellence and people. Whilst most organisations accept that these elements are critical for success, knowing ‘how’ to drive transformation in an efficient and sustainable way is an ongoing ‘unlock’. Particularly since yesterday’s playbook doesn’t always apply to today’s organisational challenges. EALA supports Australian infrastructure businesses to set strategy, embed operational excellence and cultivate positive people power and performance, providing support that is right for today and ready for tomorrow.
