It's a bit over a week since the #NTUitive techroadshow. I was leafing through the notes of that day and found 3 points that had come up in conversations 1. AI and Privacy Concerns : There is a lot of excitement about using Gen AI to build great applications and tools. But there also is a concern that your private data is being funnelled away. Of course AI companies aren't using your data to train the models, but your data still goes out of your environment. 2. Hallucination : To what extent will you trust the output generated by a bunch of neutrons on a chip? Sadly LLMs are notorious for making stuff up and depending on the technique used, you will get lesser hallucination. Getting it to near 0 is a challenge and in industries like Finance, Legal and Medicine this is a fatal error. 3. Cost : Testing some POCs and simple ideas on current models is easy. But if you truly want your entire organization to use an AI copilot - which we believe is when true productivity benefits will be unlocked - can be challenging. We decided there at the roadshow that we will focus on No Leaks, No Lies and No Tokens as our guiding principles for for Pints AI Thanks Nanyang Technological University Singaporeand NTUitive for the opportunity!

Volatility, political strife, self serving politicians, double and triple digit inflation +, inequality, insecurity, civil war, prejudice and more, certainly does spark an unparalleled level of creativity, innovation, hardiness, agility and aspiration. From the moment I saw from my bus window at the age of 17 on a journey from Guatamala City to Mexico City entire families picking through the largest garbage dump I’d ever seen for salvageable, saleable items, the concept (maybe not yet the word) of entrepreneurialism crystallized for me. Since that time I have been committed to supporting emerging market based creativity and true grit. It certainly gives me hope.
