By now, you have surely noticed the Purple group sister companies: Purple Technology, Purple Trading, and Fintokei. But did you know that we also have Purple Foundation, nadační fond, an entity focusing solely on charity and volunteering? It was established in 2018 by one of the Purple Holding CEOs, Jakub Nytra, and in our six years of existence, we have had the wonderful opportunity to support 55 projects with a total sum of over 21 million Kč. Since 2022, we have been organizing the annual Purple Foundation MeetUp, where NGO representatives can meet, share their experiences, and, most importantly, start cooperations that would otherwise have no environment to blossom in. This year, 51 guests from 14 organizations joined us and shared a total of eight presentations. At Purple Foundation, we focus greatly on building long-lasting and quality relationships with the organizations and individuals we cooperate with. We help locally and support projects in the Czech Republic, mainly in Brno and Prague, but we do not shy away from occasionally supporting an important cause abroad. Purple understands the importance of equal opportunities in life, which is why we focus on organizations and projects working for equality in our society. We want to support people from their first moments through childhood, young adulthood, their most productive years, and even in the last moments of their lives. Purple Foundation consists of four team members: Jakub Nytra, co-founder of Purple Holding and the man behind the idea of the foundation itself; Filip Rehor, co-founder of Purple Holding; Krištof Heger, FinTech team member of Purple Technology; and Dana Ševčíková, the managing director of Purple Foundation. A heart made for philanthropy and volunteering is something we all share among us, as well as with our Purple group, who regularly volunteers their time and efforts, e.g., through educating senior citizens in the field of digital awareness, attending charity runs, or contributing to our numerous charity collections.
