This past weekend, Purple brought together employees and their families for an unforgettable day at Zoo Atlanta! 🦁🐧🐘   It was a fantastic opportunity for our Purple team in Georgia to connect, relax, and enjoy some quality time outside of daily operations.   From exploring the exotic animal exhibits to enjoying delicious food and engaging in fun activities, it was a day filled of fun!   We are immensely grateful for our community! Every Purple company event is intended to help us come together, save a seat at the table, and widen our circle. 🎉 What an unforgettable day we had at the Utah Summer Event! 🌞   Our team unleashed their wild side at our private event at Utah's Hogle Zoo! The evening was packed with activities like face painting, caricatures, and more. Kids (and adults!) loved the unlimited ice cream, carousel, and train rides. Our team bonded over a delicious dinner! 🌮🥗 At Purple, we believe in celebrating not just our employees, but their families too. As a company, we cherish the moments that bring us all together, strengthening our community and creating lasting memories.   Thank you to everyone who made this event a roaring success. At Purple, we're dedicated to supporting their innovative efforts every step of the way!   In 1989, engineers Tony and Terry Pearce combined their expertise to create high-tech sporting goods and wheelchairs. By 1993, they developed Floam™, a lightweight cushioning fluid that addressed wheelchair users' needs.   In 1996, they invented Hyper-Elastic Polymer™. By 2013, this innovation led to the Purple® Bed, an affordable, high-quality mattress revolutionizing sleep comfort.    Purple's manufacturing plant in Tooele Valley is one of our plants that produces these mattresses, helping to improve sleep all over the US and supporting the local community.   Purple provides annual scholarships to local high school students, continuing the Pearce brothers' legacy of innovation and accessibility in sleep technology. May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Quality sleep is tied to mental health and so we're excited to show up in a big way this May. Here's how: 1️⃣ Our Mental Health ERG President has curated weekly meditation sessions ensuring our employees have the tools to find peace and balance. 2️⃣ Employees can dive into 4 empowering books centered around mental health with a book club. We've got some amazing reads! 3️⃣ We've collaborated with our benefit provider by offering weekly learnings that explore various aspects of mental health, from stress management to resilience building. 4️⃣ Bingo anyone? Employees can complete activities like journaling, taking walks, or unplugging from social media for a chance to win exciting prizes while prioritizing mental health. 5️⃣ Employees are enjoying guided walks, unwinding with massage, and exploring the benefits of therapy, all sponsored by Purple, to support their mental health! By prioritizing mental health, we can create a workplace where well-being thrives.

On Saturday, April 5th, our Utah Purple community was able to help with the 2024 Polar Bear Ride for Make-A-Wish Utah! It was a little chilly, but the ride raised over $53,000 to support Lily, the Make-A-Wish recipient.    Motorcycle riders from all over Utah participated and donated money to Make-A-Wish foundation! Our Lehi HQ and manufacturing facility in Grantsville, UT were two of their stops on the ride!   We love supporting our local communities! Check out some of the photos.
