Nutrient neutrality has been an issue that developers and housebuilders have struggled with for a while now. And while Natural England has been advising numerous local planning authorities in several affected areas, and introduced a new nutrient mitigation scheme in the Tees catchment, it seems confusion is still floating around this subject.
In the latest issue of the B&C Magazine, we take an in-depth look at the progress made to solve nutrient pollution across the UK, and whether the current nutrient mitigation scheme and other solutions implemented by Natural England and local authorities are having a positive impact on this, or if more needs to be done.
