Finding your purpose is the journey of uncovering the unique intersection of passion, strengths and contribution that brings meaning to your existence.
The talent landscape continues its challenging evolution – especially in private equity. And if ‘only the fit survive’ – then leaders must evolve with it.
I had the opportunity to discuss this and more during a recent “Spotlight On” podcast with Nicholas Barton, Founder & CEO of The Barton Partnership. We dive into the evolving landscape of talent strategies initially explored in my HBR article 'Private Equity Needs a New Talent Strategy.'
Key takeaways include:
‣ The pivotal contribution of human capital partners in driving value creation
‣ The significance of nurturing organizational culture for talent retention
‣ The nuances of succession planning in today's diverse workforce.
Please give it a listen to hear valuable perspectives on leadership, talent management, and organizational culture.
There’s a lot to navigate during these challenging economic times. Let’s do it together.

🎙️ Podcast Reflections: Leadership Maturity
Reflecting on another inspiring episode of the Ways Women Lead podcast, I had the pleasure of speaking with Maura Nespoli, GEMBA, an exceptional #leader who has broken numerous boundaries throughout her career. Currently VP of Sales for Renewable Energy and #Sustainable Solutions, and Chief Sustainability Officer North America at Prysmian Group, Maura's journey is a testament to her resilience and #leadership prowess.
Starting her career with McKinsey, Maura transitioned through roles of increased responsibility at Vodafone, AstraZeneca, and eventually Prysmian Group. She began in HR and later transitioned into Strategy, Business Development, and Business Leadership.
In our conversation, Maura shared invaluable insights on what helped her mature as a #leader. She emphasised the importance of self-awareness, leveraging your team's expertise, active listening, asking for feedback, and avoiding perfectionism.
Maura's journey is a must-hear for anyone seeking advice on how to navigate and excel as they progress through roles of increasing leadership responsibility.
