To celebrate 4th of July this year, enjoy some of these light, refreshing whisk(e)y summer cocktails! Rita Likes Whiskey Ingredients:  0.75 oz pepper infused Stranahan’s® Blue Peak 1 oz Stranahan’s® Diamond Peak: Extra Anejo Tequila Cask 0.75 oz House Made Curaçao  1 oz Lime Juice 0.5 oz Honey 0.5 oz Egg White  Method: Shaken, and garnished with shaved lime peel. Rodeo Rita  Ingredients: 1.5 oz Pendleton® Original 0.75 oz Triple Sec 2 oz Fresh Lime Juice 3 oz Margarita Mix 1 Lime Wedge Method: Combine all ingredients (minus lime wedge) into a shaker bottle with ice. Shake until well combined. Strain into a cocktail glass with ice. Proper Irish Margarita Ingredients:  2 oz Proper No. Twelve® Irish Apple 0.5 oz Blue Curacao 1 oz Orange Juice  5 oz Margarita mix Lime slice for garnish Method: In a shaker, add 0.5 oz blue curacao, 1 oz orange juice, 5 oz margarita mix and 2 oz Proper No. Twelve Irish. Apple into your shaker. Fill with ice in a pint glass. Garnish with lime slices. Great Jones® Classic Manhattan Ingredients:  2 oz Great Jones® Bourbon 1 oz Sweet Vermouth 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters 1 Dash Orange Bitters 1 Brandied Cherry Method: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, and stir until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, and garnish with a brandied cherry. Mountain Mule Ingredients: 2 oz TINCUP® American Whiskey 5 oz Ginger Beer 1 oz Lime Juice Lime Wedge  Method: Fill a mug with ice. Pour TINCUP® whiskey, ginger beer, and lime juice into a mug. Stir with a bar spoon (or teaspoon). Optional: Add slice of lime. Joel’s Juicy Lie Ingredients: 1.5 oz Bushmills® 10 year  5 oz Grapefruit Soda Squeeze of Lime 1 oz Pineapple Juice  Garnish: Lime Wheel Method: Pour Bushmills® 10 Year, grapefruit soda, and a squeeze of lime into a highball glass filled with ice. Give it a light stir— no shaking! Then, pour the pineapple juice onto a bar spoon on top of the cocktail (floating) to create the ombre look. Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and serve.
