I've not got used to using the updated Snipping Tool yet, but here's my first attempt at a moving Snippet. These are a few of the comments from apprentices as they left the Association of Apprentices first EPA clinic, presented by myself and my Occupational Awards Limited colleague, Hollie Nasralla, earlier today. #apprenticeships #apprentices #endpointassessment

Employment Services Specialist : Workforce Australia, Disability Employment Services, Labour Hire, Vocational Education.
I’ve had the fun of deep-diving into the world of Group Training Organisations (#GTO) the last month! Always using this option from afar (and not regularly) I never realised the significant benefits to an individual that being employed through this model can have. To those considering employment options to their caseloads or to those employers unsure about taking the plunge into the world of apprenticeships here is what I’ve taken away: 🧩 Variety: the employee may stay with one or multiple hosts throughout their employment and this can expose them to a range of on the job learning experiences to set them up for a diverse future in their qualification 🔒Security: being employed by a GTO supports host employer supply and demand for staff therefore the employee has greater security of employment potentially across multiple hosts (if the situation arises) 💰Financial: whilst earning and learning at the same time can mean lower initial cash in the pocket, there are support incentives and no HECs debts once the apprenticeship is completed 👍🏻 Support: GTO staff support the individual to ensure sustainability and suitability of employment for the apprenticeship. Matching the candidate with the right host and providing regular advice and support onsite to ensure sucess 🔑Management: the GTO model ensures the employer is supported with recruitment, training plans, incentives and any other support a identified in the employment of the individual. Everyday we have interactions with people that are qualified in their field - the disability support worker, the education support officer, the car mechanic, the hairdresser, the chef, the heating or cooling plumbing specialist, the hospitality worker… the list goes on! An apprenticeship/ Traineeship isn’t for everyone, but the demand of skilled workers into the future is there. What was once seen as a male dominated and generational led avenue of employment is changing. We need to support kids in school where academic pathways isn’t their choice, we need to support mature aged workers wanting a career change and we need to consider what the future looks like if we don’t continue to drive these occupations through quality training and on the job experience. The IntoWork Australia Group has 7 businesses deliver the GTO stream of services - providing national coverage, with local expertise and its exciting to see the various fields of expertise each offer to local businesses. #MRAEL #WorkandTraining #AGA #SkillHire #DGT #HTN #Kestrel #apprenticeships #Traineeships #employment #sucess #SkillsForTheFuture #HostEmployerModel #ManagedServices
