Combining passions for Sport, Business and Teaching, I want to provide high school students with a unique opportunity to learn about the exciting and growing world of Sports Business.
Everyday there is a new Business story, like below from Boardroom, involving College Sports. This explosion of opportunity for collegiate athletes is something that I feel like could realistically be described as UNPRECEDENTED. From Caleb Williams to Caitlin Clark, from Shedeur Sanders to Livvy Dunne, from Bronny James to Angel Reese, many athletes are capitalizing on this new market in a big way. Amazing people & entrepreneurs like Jordan Rogers are consulting and helping athletes react and thrive in this new world. Agents and lawyers are getting involved to broker and advise 6-7 digit business deals. For Sports Business students and classes - - What is next for NIL? Is it a bubble that could burst? What are the opportunities for athletes outside of the 10-20 "most valuable"? What are some future careers or roles that are needed in this new "industry" or "sector" of college sports? What advice would you give to athletes as they approach this new world of NIL? Intentional v Coincidental How many times in your work have you hit your marks, done all the right things, only to find an unintended circumstance or coincidence determines an outcome? Mad respect for both teams in today’s Lion’s Buccaneers’ game, but it seems to me that the Lion’s success is borne more of intention than the Buc’s, which seems to be more of coincidence. Consider the contrast in the process of Lion’s management and Dan Campbell to build a certain kind of team when contrasted by the good fortune Tampa Bay is now enjoying from virtual duct tape of team assembly. I’ve never been a huge Baker Mayfield fan, probably due to the saturation of the obnoxious advertisements of him in Cleveland. But I do admire his and Coach Bowle’s GRIT. Tampa deserves to be here. Hopefully the Lions earn the next level. Don’t get me wrong, being lucky and good is always better than just being good. Whether in personal, corporate or other matters, it takes great preparation to get anywhere; including in finding luck. Nothing says you can’t be intentional with coincidences. As we watch these teams battle, it will be interesting to see to what extent intention prevails over coincidence. A lesson for football and life: prepare for both. The best teams preparation overcomes even the craziest coincidences. Even then, lets not forget that the smallest deed can overcome the greatest intention.

Do you know why Orry was seated in the first row whereas Vikrant Massey was placed on the third at a Filmfare award? Because even though Vikrant Massey is more talented than Orry, Orry has built a strong brand for himself through marketing. Same goes for you. You may be more experienced and deserving, but your competitors are not only stealing the limelight but also the business because their marketing strategy is on point. Think about it! #NicheDominanceWizard #SocialMediaMarketing

Promoting allyship in the workplace to ensure everyone feels seen, heard, and belongs | Forbes Contributor
With record box office success, it is likely there will be many more movies like Barbie in the future. What I learned from Mattel's DEI strategy: 1. There’s a reason why everyone says, “Hi, Barbie.” Because everyone is Barbie and everyone can be. 2. I, too, hope my profession in DEI becomes a part of everyone's job some day and isn't a separate role. 3. Barbie started on this journey many years ago. It takes a lot of little intentional steps to shift your culture to inclusion. #diversityandinclusion #leadership #allyship

Bjorn, you often speak of great communication in the field of #strategy. Could you help us by pointing out a truly inspiring company in this respect? Sure, I really think that Brunello Cucinelli - the pioneer of 'Quiet Luxury' - is up there among the leaders. Just look at the company's campaign consistency over the years, and you will immediately understand. And not least how everything is firmly anchored in direction (mission, vision, values) and aligned through strong emotionality. Stellar is the word. https://lnkd.in/d6k7rpzG
