Margin, margin, margin 💥 Nibble was deployed on Bridgman's Outlet and Clearance sections of their website. In just the first month, we cleared £10,000s of stock offering an average of just <4% off marked price to agree deals. Better still, every chat with Nibble was on-brand, with Nibble reflecting Bridgman's quality, history and luxury in the chats to defend its price point and secure win-win deals. If you've got a clearance or outlet section you secretly feel is getting out-of-control with over-discounting or struggling to clear the stock – let's have a quick chat. 👍

30% off! Our close-out sale has reached new highs... or new LOWS (low prices, we mean). We're also seeing inventory running out fast, but we're also ADDING new products as we find them, so keep checking back to see what's new! If you love Home on the Range, you'll be delighted to know that our solid cologne and body wash is on close-out (well, delighted because it's on sale, not because it's discontinued)... all the more reason to STOCK UP NOW! Our Lip Balm's also on clearance, so if your lips are suffering through this winter chap-ter (see what I did there?) you'll want to get over to the close-out and pick up these goodies. And we've added some SUPER deals on both Calamity Jane and The Gambler Shampoo and Conditioner Packs, which are just $15.40 while supplies last (which isn't going to be long). I absolutely love barbeque. Nothing is better than getting the smoker fired up and enjoying some good whiskey with friends while that delicious meat cooks low and slow. There are a lot of reasons that I could pontificate on for what makes barbeque so awesome. But my favorite is that not only does everyone have their own style, but every cook is different than the last time. This is very similar to how we put deals together. Every dealmaker has their own style that they lean towards, but each transaction is unique. Just like barbeque, there is some science to the process of structuring a deal, but there is some art to it as well. The interesting thing is the number of “experts” that you come across that treat acquisitions as if there is an exact formula. They have rigid rules like “asset transactions are always preferable” or “post-closing payments are risky” or “everyone does cash-free, debt-free deals.” There are circumstances in which these “rules” are applicable. There are also circumstances where these rules are laughable. It’s akin to having a toolbox full of every tool imaginable, but you only use the hammer for every job. As dealmakers, we can’t look at every transaction in a vacuum. We need to look at the objectives of the parties and the business being transferred, and then use all the tools at our disposal to create the best deal structure. This should also be a lesson for anyone looking to hire an expert. Suppose when you talk to them, they are spouting hard-fast rules about what is “market” for your deal instead of listening to the parties' goals, how the business operates, and the key elements of this specific transaction. In that case, they might not be the expert they hold themselves out to be. In his book The Soul of the Deal, Marc Morgenstern compares the deal process to how a jam band (like the Grateful Dead) plays music. You need to be able to play the same song, but sometimes, you need to play it differently based on the audience you are playing for that night. So, like barbeque and the Grateful Dead, avoid rigid rules in your dealmaking.

In a World Sans Logos: Chaos, Fishermen, and Mystery Boxes. 🎣 In a world sans logos, chaos unfurls its unruly banner! Picture this: you stroll into a cozy coffee nook, and instead of the familiar Starbucks mermaid, a befuddled fisherman tips his hat. 🎣 At the grocery store, it’s a labyrinth of enigma—aisles stacked with mystery boxes. You play “guess the product,” hoping that innocuous-looking box isn’t secretly a ferret habitat. 📦🤔 Life morphs into a whimsical guessing game. Fast-food joints double as dental clinics; that shiny red can? Could be cola or industrial solvent—bottoms up, brave soul! 🥤🤪 Let’s raise our metaphorical mugs to logos, the unsung heroes who rescue us from a world of befuddlement and questionable breakfast choices. 🙌🏽🔍🥐 #LogosMatter #BrandMagic #ConfusionBusters #iconsultbox

New product: Barclay Rex Magnum Smooth Bent Apple Estate Briar Pipe, American Estates Barclay-Rex is a historic American tobacconist in New York. Founded in 1910 by Italian immigrant Vincent Nastri, the tobacconist has remained in Nastri’s family since its inception, still remaining so today. While today Barclay-Rex is known for its cigars and cigar lounge, there was a time in the 20th century when the store was also famous for its pipes, some of which were carved by the Nastri family, and others which were likely sourced from established makes. I’ll admit that I’m no expert on Barclay-Rex pipes, so I don’t know if they had a specific name for this one. But, if they didn’t market it as a “Big Apple,” I’d say they would have really missed an opportunity! After all, this is a big apple pipe, and where better to have sold it than New York? Jokes aside, it’s an impressive pipe. Apples are not the go-to shape for magnum-sized pipes, being traditionally associated with smaller, delicate, gentleman’s smokers. So, this one is quite unique. Beautiful too. The condition is excellent, too. You’d think with a pipe like this one, there’d be more wear, especially on the stem. But it’s been preserved remarkably, with only a touch of inner rim darkening to show for its past life. Details: Length: 7″ / 177.8mm Bowl Width: 0.95 / 24.13mm Bowl Depth: 1.85″ / 46.99mm Weight: 1.6oz / 100g 👉🏽👉🏽Pipe Link: https://nuel.ink/9hYH84 #pipesmoking #pipes #tobaccopipe #pipesmoker #pipetobacco #tobacco #smokingpipe #briarpipe #briar #smoking #pipemaker #pipecollector #artisanpipes #mbsd

We do our best to have an impressive booth at every show we go to. You should see all our grabber blue Cascade Trader flags! And the big baskets of candy we bring! But we just can’t compare ourselves with the huge, multinational companies next to us. And we don’t have to. In the long run, it’s all about the quality of your product and how you treat people, not how cool you look. Even without all the fanciest decorations, the customers that come around to visit us are best in show. ⭐️ #tradeshow #smallbusiness #familybusiness #heavyequipment #dealership #smallbusinesstips
