‘OFFER REJECTION’ INTERVIEWS Considering the high numbers of ‘Offer Rejections’ / ‘No Shows’ in recent years, this could be an exercise that could potentially provide valuable insights for improvement in the Hiring process. Proactively reach out to candidates who have withdrawn from consideration and request them for a short conversation. The main objective of this would be to gain a deeper understanding of their experience throughout the interview process. It's essential to emphasize that the goal is not to alter their decision; we respect their choices. Instead, we're just seeking their "brutal honesty" to uncover insights that could help us enhance our process. Consider incorporating worthy and actionable insights from such "post-mortem" conversations into the standard hiring process. By doing so, we can continuously improve our approach and create a culture of learning and growth. P.S.: Most would obviously infer that majority rejections are due to better offers in terms of salary or profile; but some conversations could lead to discovering and thereby improving on areas that could positively improve the hiring process.
