Senior FP&A Director seeking return to Finance leadership role after 2 yrs of consulting for education & non-profit sectors

A little over two years ago, I decided to intentionally leave the corporate world and began strategic planning consulting for school districts and non-profits. This pursuit has been extremely fulfilling, positively impacting approximately 36,000 students in the East and Northeast, as well as communities. 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐲 𝐅𝐏&𝐀 (𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐬! While my prior experiences as a Sr. FP&A Director and Financial Strategy are in insurance and healthcare, I am open to other opportunities as well! Even though the past two years have "filled my proverbial cup," it is clear that I do miss financial reporting, modeling, analysis, and forecasting and I am hoping to use my skills at a company that aligns with my values and allows me to use Microsoft Excel again more frequently! What should you expect if you were to hire me? 1. A 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦-𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 (I have been called "Winston Wolf" several times professionally…if you have seen the movie Pulp Fiction 😄) 2. A 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 individual – it's in my DNA as a 17-year cancer survivor 3. A 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 – someone who can not only lead efforts but also bring a disparate team together with positive energy 4. A 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 – in all my prior roles, I have created new capabilities or built models from scratch to help make informed decisions. 5. A 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 – I have had success in each of my prior roles because I enjoy growth and especially learning from mistakes Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you want to explore working together, and I’d be happy to pass along my resume. Thank you!
