Prebid.org 9.0 Release: Key Changes and Updates I was going through the release of Prebid.js 9.0! This update includes significant changes to the bidder interface and publisher API. Here are the highlights from my understanding: 🔹 Removed Modules: Several modules have been removed and replaced. Publishers need to update their builds accordingly. 🔹 Consent Changes: Updates include renaming GDPR modules to TCF modules and removing GPP 1.0 support. 🔹 Rendering: Preferred creatives for Google Ad Manager are updated. Trademark Dispute: Google & Booking vs MakeMyTrip - A Case of 'Confusion' MakeMyTrip (MMT) objected to the use of "MakeMyTrip" and "MMT" in keywords or search ads, challenging the 'competitive keywords' strategy. The Delhi High Court ruled that utilizing trademarks on Google Ads doesn't constitute infringement under the Trade Marks Act, 1999. This decision came after MakeMyTrip alleged that its trademarks were used as keywords by Booking on Google Ads. While the outcome may not be a decisive win for Booking. It certainly stands as a significant victory for #Google.
