Prashanthi Padmanabhan’s Post

There are days when our job feels the most meaningful. It's when your dreams and hopes play out in front of your eyes. For Niha Mathur and me, as leads of the Women in Tech community at #linkedin, seeing our engineers set the stage on fire with their tech talks and panel discussions, and seeing hundreds of WIT members and allies join us at our internal WIT Connect Conference this week - was a moment of extreme joy and pride. #WCC24 Our WIT priorities is anchored on community building and skill building. This event turned out to be an amazing WIT symposium, while serving as a skill-building workshop for the speakers, panel moderators, event hosts, planners, volunteers etc. #communitybuilding #skillsfuture Electrifying tech talks that covered key product, platform and infrastructure priorities for the company, and deep discussions on building inclusive products in the era of AI, the art of balancing speed & craft and demystifying allyship got the audience hooked on and energized. Krati Ahuja gave a thoughtful keynote on her journey growing into a Principal Engineer at LinkedIn, working across a breadth of technologies and business domains. Lei Yang and Li Fan discussed nurturing a culture of innovation and shared deep reflections on their career paths - they inspired the community to dream big, aim high and find competitive advantage to forge ahead. Thank you Li for joining us - we loved your wisdom, authenticity and sense of humor! Michelle and Morgan, our MVPs just nailed it in how they led this event from start to finish, with help from Supriya, Elizabeth, Jenee, Kanika Vats, Lu, Debby B., Smitha, April, the LMP team, Comms team and volunteers - all went above and beyond raising the bar. Thank you team! Our leaders Mohak Erran Sabry Ya Aarthi Ashvin Sanjay Krishnan Gyanda Samir Kevin Raghu Bruno and others stood by our side, rooting for the community. Erica and Preeti, we were fondly remembering you during the event. LinkedIn WIT community and allies - hope you enjoyed the event - would love to hear about your experience! 👉🏼Please follow #LinkedInWIT page (https://lnkd.in/grkbFWGu) to stay connected. #LinkedInWIT #LinkedInLife HT to Tony Chung for his wonderful photography covering the event.
