This is what #Luxembourg offers. Our strong financial and economic performance and our sustained job creating environment is supported by our social and political stability. We promise companies that choose to set up offices here that they can count on us to provide them with a stable environment, to create for the long-term, for themselves and for our country. And yet even within our country, a country where only 1 in 4 people working here are able to #vote, we see increased diverging of opinions, and an embarrassing number of political parties. (I mean let's think about it. There's a different political party for every 10,000 working and voting in Luxembourg). If we can't work together, to ensure we are building a country that includes all of us, how are we going to lead in a changing world, in an increasingly disconnected European Union? We need to bring people to the table, and work together. The DP - Demokratesch Partei and Xavier Bettel have shown they are capable of bringing people to the table, from leading a 3-party coalition for 10 years, to organising Tripartites whenever it was needed. See you at the polls (well, 25% of you). Vill Gléck.

Senior Commercial & Operational Leader | General Manager | Global Director | Brand Strategy Expert | Steering cross-functional, global strategic business transformations in B2C and D2C corporations
I chose Germany 🇩🇪 I chose my second home. Two years ago, I made a choice. A choice that was not defined by my spouse's nationality, not influenced by the last 10 years of contribution to German companies, and not compelled by the wonderful friendships I've made in this country. I chose to become a German citizen because I saw in Germany a place I could call my second home. The common narrative might lead you to believe that my decision was born out of necessity or convenience. It might be easier to assume that I became a German citizen because of my husband, my education, or my prolonged stay. But the truth is, my journey to citizenship was fueled purely by admiration and respect for this country. However, the political landscape has shifted in recent times, and it's been a cause for concern. It's disheartening to see the rise in extreme right movements, which can be a threat to the peace and harmony of any society. But amidst this uncertainty, there is hope. I've seen firsthand the resilience of the German people, their commitment to remember and learn from their history rather than bury it, and their determination to resist repeating it. This is the Germany I chose to be part of, and I'm proud of it. To those who stand against the tide of extremism, keep pushing forward. Remember, your voice is powerful, and your actions can shape the future of this country. To those who share my concerns, let's stand together and continue to uphold the values that make us proud to call Germany our home. Deutschland, du bist wunderbar 👏 #standtogether #yourvoicematters #futureisbright

Commercial Director Selected for Partnering in Business with Germany Programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action
From the moment I applied to participate in the Partnering in Business with Germany program, I involved my daughter in the process. She asked me why I was doing it, and I explained to her the importance of these opportunities for me as a businesswoman, the need to always seek opportunities to grow, and especially because this is the first time there is a Delegation exclusively for Mexican businesswomen. I remember her face when I told her I was moving on to the interview stage, and I confessed that I was scared, scared of the unknown. She told me not to do it then, but I explained that when things are meant to help you grow, you do them even if you're scared. The day I received the email confirming that I had been selected, we were both extremely excited! Thanks to the involved entities, because not only am I about to have a unique experience, but I am also setting an example for my daughter to fight for what she wants. These have been months of hard work, training to understand the way of working and doing business in Germany, searching for german leads, sessions with my Business Coach, daily work in my company, and being a mom and wife. It has all been worth it. The time to start this journey is almost here, and I am approaching it with full commitment, an open mind and heart, and deep gratitude. #PartneringInBusinessWithGermany #BMWK Debora Guerrero Volker Moser #secretariadeeconomiamexico #icunetgroup Friederike Winterstein Secretaría de Economía México Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH #BusinessDevelopment #GermanyTrip #EuropeanMarket #Networking #Collaboration #GrowthOpportunities #NewConnections #ExcitedForTheFuture #GermanFederalMinistry #EconomicAffairs #ClimateAction

Lead Accenture Song Germany, Switzerland and Austria | Unleashing Hidden Possibilities Through Strategic Business Transformation
In Germany, cooperation, openness, and the pursuit of progress are the cornerstones of the thriving business landscape. The acceptance of diversity has consistently fueled prosperity, shaping a vibrant environment for innovation. At Accenture, we not only stand for diversity but actively promote and live it. In a time where international talent is pivotal to our innovative strength, recent anti-democratic developments raise concerns. These developments not only send a worrying message to the world but also impact the attractiveness of Germany as a career destination. As entrepreneurs and managers, we bear a shared responsibility to uphold the values of our democracy, which are fundamental to the country's success. Our commitment extends beyond business – it's about standing up for the principles that form the bedrock of this country. It's heartening to witness people across Germany taking a stand, sending a resounding message to protect our democracy, society, and economy for the long term. Racism and intolerance have no place in a free society, and it's our collective responsibility to ensure inclusivity and equality. Let's continue to foster an environment where diversity is celebrated, progress is relentless, and our commitment to democracy remains unwavering. Together, we shape a future where unity and respect prevail. #diversityandinclusion #businessleadership #StandForDemocracy

Are you doing business with Germany? Did you now that they are today, the 3rd of October, are celebrating "Tag der Einheit", the "German Unity Day", which is the national day of Germany, commemorating the anniversary of German reunification in 1990. Why is vital for international businesses to be familiar with it? 🙂 Understanding national holidays demonstrates respect towards another country's history and culture, enhancing diplomatic and business relations. 🙂 Recognizing such holidays is crucial for planning business meetings, schedules, or launches in Germany, as public institutions and many businesses may be closed. 🙂 For companies operating in or marketing to Germany, acknowledging 'Tag der Einheit' can enhance brand affinity by showing cultural awareness. The reunification had significant political, economic, and social implications for Germany. Awareness of this can give insights into Germany's current business environment and societal values. Engaging in conversations about significant cultural events can serve as an icebreaker and strengthen relationships with German counterparts. So, your knowledge of "Tag der Einheit" isn't just about a date; it's about understanding Germany's journey and its implications for today's business world. #german #internationalbusiness #relations
