And they’re up! We just installed Yoonhee Choi’s incredible glass walls in the new PDX. These 56-foot-long art installations feature vibrant lines and playful shapes that invite your imagination to wander amidst the typical hustle and bustle of an airport. Portland-based artist, Yoonhee brings a unique blend of city planning, architecture, and art to her work. She describes her design as a "whimsical map of an imaginary land," that encourages endless interpretations. So, the next time you’re in the TSA line, it might feel more like a stroll through a modern art museum.
Applause to the development and design team that have contributed to make the Airport so unique and beautiful!
Congratulations, Yoonhee Choi! I look forward to seeing your glass sculpture in-person soon!
👏
Port of Portland Can we get a TCO date?

3wAs a frequent and committed fan of PDX I long for completion. There is no better airport but walking around the mountain to return to essentially the same place at 5:00 am will not be missed.
