Having belongings like bags and basic everyday items, such as deodorant, toothpaste, teddy bear or clean clothes helps children and young people feel better about themselves. It's really important for them to feel valuable because being in care can come with a such negative image, and the child often feels they are to blame for their situation. Giving children a sense of belonging by respecting their belongings. When you have nothing everything is important. You can make a difference to a child entering care today by contacting Sarah Jacoby and booking in your CSR workshop and team event.
