It doesn't matter what you've done before, it's the intentional pursuit of your dream that will set you apart. Age is irrelevant. Being an outlier it's easy to become despondent, thinking your time is up if you're over 30 and haven't achieved your dreams. Never give up. At 51 I know my business models will be funded by the right investors who are as passionate about the impact opportunities of advanced tech as I am. In late 2020 I sent my first #pitchdeck to a dozen investors in various sectors and levels of investing as a test to gain insights into how to present better, to attract the right investor. It received excellent reviews (except for one who didn't understand the concept) with one investor committing to the process. Sadly due to him falling ill (Covid) we never moved forward. Rejuvenating the pitch deck and reviewing the technology it's nearly ready for the second phase of investor pitch's. Following Melanie Perkins of #Canva who pitched to 100 Venture Capitalists before securing the funding that's truly transformed design for everyone. #nevertoolate #nevergiveup

The thing about #MondayswithMyles is you cannot ever deploy them on Taco Tuesday, on Mardi Gras, or on Two-For-Tuesday. Nevertheless, I still want to post two times today, despite it not being Tuesday. You can’t stop me from posting twice. I mean it. You cannot physically restrain me from posting two times on one day, because to do so you would have to break into my house where I am writing this, and the front door is locked. I just checked. OK actually it isn’t, and I don’t want to go over and turn the lock (I can see it from here but I just came back to my computer rather than locking it). Despite that, I still think I can post this before you get here. I only wrote “Despite that” because I thought it would be overkill to use “Nevertheless” for a second time. But now upon further reflection it might have been a nice tie-in to the fact that this is a two-for-Tuesday #MondaywithMyles, so I regret losing my nerve, but I shall press on. If you think that paragraph is mayhem, you should have seen the game of “Without Fail” we played yesterday. Link to the game is in the comments! This is a party game in a box and it unleashed absolutely pandemonium with cheers, stunts, epic wins, brutal fails, and filled exactly the right amount of time for our group of 7 enthusiastic grown-ups. I don’t need to tell you anything about this game, all I need to do is show you how Deb helped Christine try to get 10 hats on her head in a stack before 30 seconds elapsed, and time ran out just as I snapped this photo capturing the moment the tower of hats toppled over. I mean, there are mic drop moments, and then there are “uppermost layer of a vertical tower of almost 10 hats” drop moments and this is the latter. I think I’ll just let the pic speak for me.
