Pacific Northwest Family Law’s Post

Pacific Northwest Family Law is pleased to announce that attorney Cyrus Kotenai has joined the team. Originally from Houston, Texas, Cyrus was drawn to the beautiful Pacific Northwest by the many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and the close-knit community Tri-Cities provides. Cyrus received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, where his background in business fostered his competitive edge. While in law school at the University of Houston Law Center, he received awards for legal research and writing and was in the top 7.5% of his class while also placing in mock trial competitions. Cyrus is passionate about helping families. Family Law serves as an avenue for Cyrus to advocate and lend his voice to individuals and families during some of their most challenging and emotional moments. As Cyrus puts it, "Few feelings are more rewarding than the sense of accomplishment, purpose, and fulfillment that derives from making a positive contribution to a client and their children's life." In his free time, Cyrus enjoys the outdoor activities that Washington offers, such as hiking, biking, white water rafting, snowboarding, and gardening. Additionally, Cyrus works with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for the socioeconomically disadvantaged. Cyrus's personal experiences growing up have made him incredibly passionate about advocacy. His experiences give him a deep understanding of life's complexities and the legal needs that can arise. Cyrus truly cares about his clients and wants to provide them with compassionate guidance and support as they navigate challenging situations.
