Exciting news! The Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission has awarded the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy a generous grant for the rehabilitation of the Valley Refuge Shelter, a Works Progress Administration-era gathering space with a storied history in beautiful Riverview Park on Pittsburgh's Northside. A heartfelt thank you to Senator Wayne Fontana, Representative Emily Kinkead, Mayor Ed Gainey, Councilman Bobby Wilson, and the Friends of Riverview Park for their leadership, advocacy, and support in making this award and project possible. Stay tuned for project updates: https://lnkd.in/ev85eH-8.
