As I step into retirement, it’s hard to believe that 38 years have passed since I first joined P&G. The memories of my early days here are as vivid as if they happened just yesterday. From my first role in the Pomezia Plant, Italy, to my current position in Geneva, Switzerland, the journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. The warmth and support of the P&G family have been a constant source of motivation and inspiration throughout these years. For almost four decades, the continuous opportunities for growth and learning, along with the chance to work alongside some of the most talented and dedicated individuals, have kept me at P&G. I have been fortunate to learn from and work with some of the best minds in the industry, who have all played crucial roles in shaping my career and my life. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my career has been our work on sustainability. Leading P&G’s Sustainability Logistics Strategy for Europe has been particularly rewarding. Developing strategies that not only optimize supply chain efficiency but also significantly reduce our environmental footprint has been a critical part of my role. These efforts are a testament to P&G’s commitment to creating a sustainable future and have allowed me to contribute to a cause I deeply believe in. As I look to the future, I am filled with excitement!. I will continue to share my knowledge and passion for Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility by teaching at universities. In the coming weeks, I will be announcing some exciting plans regarding my next steps, including remaining active in consulting and research within these fields. Stay tuned for more details – I can’t wait to embark on this new journey and continue contributing to our industry’s growth and evolution. Thank you to everyone who has made these 38 years so memorable and rewarding. Your support, collaboration, and friendship have been invaluable. I cherish the relationships we have built and the many lessons learned along the way.

It’s been over 30 years since our relaxing walks in North Manchester, but it seems like yesterday…rest and enjoy!
I had to quickly sell my P&G shares. First things first 😂 . As Uli always said, "in the good old times", when people started their careers at P&G at the age of 10 ... and now looking back on 38 years - incredibile! Wishing you a real good time 💚
All the best Pietro! Legend!
Happy retirement Pietro. It was a pleasure working with you in Ireland.
It was in 1994, you were my boss for less than one year. But in that period I learned a lot from you, and I brought some of your mythical phrases with me. "If you came with a problem, then there will be two of us with the same problem. If you came up with the solution, then I can help you make it happen". Ad maiora !!!
So happy for you! Pietro, happy retirement. It was a pleasure to work with you some years in P&G. Good luck for the future ❤️
Congratulations Pietro all the best! Sincerely
Pietro D'Arpa best wishes for your retirement. You were plant manager in Nenagh when I started. Many years and adventures since then. I'll pass on regards to "my brother" also
Congrats, Pietro on your legacy and well deserved retirement. I will never forget your support to me when I first moved to US in 2015. Enjoy your next chapter.

1wciao Piero, lot of water has passed under bridges from the first time we met 36+ years ago at Pomezia. You have been a great colleague, an inspiring boss (even if for a short period) and all along an ever lasting friend. I am sure you'll enjoy this new phase of your life and I wish it provides you with the fulfilment, the enrichment, the enthusiasm you are looking for. AD MAJORA
