Happy Un-Halloween from Retreats Resources! 👻 Let us explain: In 2020, as we were all in quarantine during the Pandemic, we came up with an idea to stay connected as an industry— and Retreats Resources Real-Time Retreats was born. Each week we brought together meetings and events professionals from the comfort and safety of their homes to listen in on and participate on virtual presentations from our fabulous destination partners from around the world. Each week came with a new theme centered around the destination or hotel where we challenged creativity from our participants. And creativity we did get! Costumes, characters, virtual backgrounds, cocktails, stories….not a week went by that we were not blown away by the creative ways everyone came to express themselves. They were ALL IN. This weekly series went on for over a year, well into the summer of 2021. It gave us a bright spot every week in a very uncertain time for our industry, and we are proud of the community that came from that.
