😎 Boost your Salesforce flow debugging with this tip ! Do you find it hard to debug flow created by another admin or developer ? It may be due to the bad naming conventions. It is really important to use best naming conventions while writing the flows in salesforce. It becomes really difficult to debug complex flows if it is created with bad practices. I've been using this naming convention for a long time. And I've found it on this wonderful blog. (Check blog link in comment). Since the flows becoming more and more powerful every realease. It is important that you practice these best practices religiously. Additional Tip : Alwasy use IN_ and OUT_ as variable prefix for input and output varibles in flows. #1MinuteTip: Demystifying Salesforce API Name Character Limits 🚀 During my recent Salesforce project, I delved into the intricacies of defining technical standards and best practices for implementation. As a part of this exercise, I was defining the naming convention for different metadata types and wanted to list the maximum characters allowed in the API Names of different metadata types. Surprisingly, there wasn't a readily available Salesforce reference on this, so I took matters into my own hands. Here's the lowdown: Salesforce imposes three main limits on API Name lengths for Metadata - 40 characters - 80 characters - 255 characters 👉 This limit excludes any suffix Salesforce appends (like ‘__c’ for custom objects and fields). (But keep it manageable!) 2️⃣ @future: Think lightning-fast delivery! Perfect for quick tasks, but it's a black box; no monitoring, limited data options, and forget chaining it to other jobs. 🛠 Pick the right tool for the job: Need control and chaining ❓ Queue it ❗ Just wanna set it and forget it❓ @future's your buddy❗ Remember: Both save UI and keep you under the governor limit. Exciting News: Salesforce Developers Receive Another Game-Changing Update! The Set class now implements the Iterable interface, so you can directly iterate over sets. Both sets and lists are iterable, allowing for more code reuse. Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions. This change is a versioned change in API version 58.0 and later. How: This example uses the String.join method with a Set, which was previously unsupported because Set didn’t implement Iterable.
