Tucker Carlson And Australias Opportunity. Tucker Carlson gave all Australians an opportunity to reflect and to awaken their thinking last night in Canberra about the very future of their country. He provided an opportunity for Australians to consider what is the best way for the country to proceed into their future, and who should they trust in that journey, other than themselves. He honesty reminded them that in time of their needs ,who they think are their best friends today, may very well not be there for them in the future. My article below speaks more about this potentially defining moment.

A lot of western nations are self sabotaging their own countries, in the name of some egalitarian ideas. You can be rest assured that the people you are prioritizing over your own people will not do the same for you. Lolz Helping others or protecting the planet can be done without self sabotaging your own citizens and economies. You really think India, China or the Arab world will do the same for you? China will sacrifice it's economy for CO2 in 3 decades? From EVs to tech, China and India are taking the lead respectively. Instead of sabotaging energy independence because of CO2 concerns, just plant more trees. Plant a forest. Problem solved.

"They are telling you it's not your country so they can take it away from you and you won't resist when you do because it does not belong to you in the first place" Tucker Carlson hitting the target!! Take aways from Tucker's speech in Melbourne. 👉 Australia is a wealthy, beautiful country with good infrastructure but unaffordable housing 👉 Australians have a deep love for animals and wildlife 👉 We have billionaires that are patriotic that stand against the agenda 👉 We are under siege by powers that want us gone because of our substantial resources and wealth. Population replacement. 👉 Our politicians are not working in the interests of this country and are bought out 👉 Our housing crisis has been engineered by government policy 👉 Our culture, our children, energy supplies are under attack by woke ideology, and we are being impoverished to the point that raising a family and owning a home has become a luxury Catherine Cumming shared the entire Melbourne speech 👇 https://lnkd.in/gztch5v6 Tucker goes on to say what a huge week in American politics it has been that now people know the Deep State run the country but how dangerous that all is too. He says many things being done to Australians are happening in America too and the last few years he has learnt a lot and made deep friendships with like minded and good people, some of whom he used to hate. It was good to hear his perspective on 🇦🇺 Australia and Australians because often as an island nation, we can become quite isolated and tunnel visioned, without the context of how we fit in, on the world stage. We are in the fight for our lives but a person defending their home is worth more than a thousand hired mercenaries. Thank you Tucker for reminding us that Australia is worth fighting for, that it is our country and we will resist. No one will take away what is rightfully ours. Hand in hand with the indigenous, it is ours. We are the dreamers, the visionaries and the builders 🙌 The New World Order has nothing on us, when we remember our roots. We are connected to this land in a very deep and spiritual way. 🙏 To see more of my posts, join my network and click the 🔔 on my profile. 🧡 Email list sign up, in-depth articles & support link. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gDMu9iEn

Policy, content, communications | Author of Wor Room - the North East Policy Newsletter | Contributor for Pattern | Columnist for The QT
My Election Day column in The QT argues even a big majority doesn't automatically give a government a mandate for the sizeable change the North East needs. Because you've got to lay the groundwork and convince people on the specific things you want to do differently. This campaign hasn't been like that. Collaboration will be crucial to bring in fresh ideas, to win people over when they are risk averse after so many challenging years, and to actually deliver tangible improvements to people's lives. You can read it here - https://lnkd.in/eqeNEtbH
As the nation goes to the polls this week there's a strong political flavour to Edition 22 of The QT — not least within our exclusive interview with the chair of the Common Sense Policy Group. Northumbria University's Prof Matthew Johnson presents a compelling case for change and outlines an ambitious social contract. Elsewhere Arlen Pettitt calls for collaboration in order to enable positive change across the North East and Tony Henderson opens the door to that firm regional favourite — the village hall. Simon Rushworth talks fitness with a new Tyneside-based firm and — in his weekly Off The Record column — turns back the clock to the summer of 2000 and a trip into the unknown. Plus we catch up with crime writer Trevor Wood and discover how the North East has been launching successful Olympic careers for 25 years. Live at noon!

Although politically active (having excelled in Political Science/Pre-Law back in my college days and devouring news sources through this day), I generally try to avoid making political posts given that LinkedIn is supposedly a career and professional networking platform. However, I came upon this alarming job post this morning on GlassDoor for an organization that I see also has a LinkedIn profile. It is for a Statewide Communications Director at the innocently-named and seemingly positive Florida Rising. Alas, it is far from anything with which any freedom and liberty and America-loving person would want affiliation! The scariest and most eye-opening part of the job description is "... to seize power and govern to advance social, economic and racial justice across Florida." "To seize power." Yikes! Contrast this aggressive, fascist and literal dictatorial ("...especially power that was obtained by force...") description with a typical job description for most any role; opportunities that do NOT openly promote violence and taking power. Contrast "to seize power" with the large majority of Americans who value liberty and freedom and robust-but-civil debate, myself included, who would rather coexist peacefully and just live our lives in a free country. This is a prime example of the philosophical and political War of Ideas in which the increasingly radical-yet-highly-vocal-and-disruptive-and-violent minority is engaging with those of us who love America and Her ideals (and are not obsessed with "us vs. them" and race and other tools of division). God help and bless America and Her allies.

Very happy to share I am pleased to share the report from the Inquiry into Workforce Australia Employment Services, Rebuilding Employment Services Final report on Workforce Australia Employment Services. You may remember ACCE’s submission to the inquiry earlier this year (here). The recommendations call for drastic change to ensure that services place the jobseeker at the centre of the solution. The report notes the considerable difference in the employment service system in Australia compared to OECD countries and may result in better career matching and career support, and less focus on mutual obligations. Pleasingly, the report has identified the positive contribution of the Jobs Victoria Career Counsellors service: 3.10 Greater South East Melbourne (GSEM) told the Committee that the Jobs Victoria model—and particularly Advocates and Career Counsellors—has been particularly effective in enabling jobseekers to access jobs which align with their aspirations. Moreover, the Career Counselling service has enabled participants to make more informed choices about their training and career pathways.5 Read the final report here: Rebuilding Employment Services (aph.gov.au) https://lnkd.in/guzePQcy

This article by Andrea Vance, National Affairs Editor for The Post and the Sunday Star-Times, provides a critical analysis of the political situation in New Zealand, particularly focusing on the actions of Christopher Luxon and the coalition government. The first point of criticism is the decision by the ACT party to spark a 'debate' over the Treaty principles bill, which is reportedly opposed by Luxon himself, and yet he finds himself at the forefront defending it. This is seen as a political misstep, as it not only distracts from other issues but also puts Luxon in a difficult position of defending something he personally disagrees with. The author also criticises the lack of clarity and straightforwardness from the government, specifically pointing to the decision to deploy Defence Force personnel to the Middle East. The explanation provided by the trio - Luxon, Judith Collins and Winston Peters - was reportedly obfuscating and avoided clear answers. This, according to Vance, marks a failure in transparency and communication, which are key aspects of any government's relationship with its citizens. The critique further extends to the individual performances of the ministers. Collins' reluctance to admit the personnel's role in the bombing of Yemen and Peters' ill-preparedness to answer questions on recognising Palestine as a country are seen as troubling signs of inefficiency or lack of preparedness. Luxon's political maneuvering, or lack thereof, is the primary focus of this article. His ability to navigate this politically charged environment is questioned, especially in comparison to his predecessors, John Key and Bill English, who were seen as more adept at handling complex political issues. In summary, the author posits that Luxon and the coalition government's actions have put them in a challenging position at the start of the political year, raising questions about their leadership, communication, and decision-making. This could potentially influence the political discourse ahead of the Waitangi Day and impact the coalition government's standing among the electorate. However, it is important to remember that politics is a fluid landscape, and the perception of these actions could change as the year progresses. https://lnkd.in/g5VRK7dM
