As head of learning and development for CBIZ Financial Services, what keeps me up at night is how to upskill our talent for a tech-enabled future. And with the rapid growth in data analytics, artificial intelligence and automation, the future is now! Our team members need to adapt if we want to remain relevant. It takes new knowledge and skills – what we’re calling a “Digital Mindset”. While we have offered training in emerging technologies for several years, our President Chris Spurio, CPA, CGMA made it a strategic imperative to do more. So we’re taking a quantum leap forward beginning today. CBIZ is pleased to partner with the AICPA to bring our team members extensive training designed to develop their Digital Mindset, focusing in four areas: Digital Awareness, Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation. We’re teaching valuable skills in Power BI, ChatGPT, Excel, storytelling and automation. This training will enable our talent to change the way that they think about technology and unleash innovation that will add value to our clients and the company. As a company, it is imperative that we instill this Digital Mindset from day one. That is why, in addition to the training we’re making available to all of our team members, we are introducing a specific “Level 1” Digital Mindset curriculum for first year Associates and Associate Consultants. Sounds so great. I really miss working but a huge part that I came to love and miss a lot is teaching. And a lot of that towards the end of my being able to work was teaching online. What you are doing is incredible and I only wish I was still there to take part.
