This is Lamine Yamal. He is now 16 years old and scored the best goal of Euro 2024. The first thing he did when he got a major football deal was busing a home for his grandmother.
This is so beautiful!
Thank you for sharing, seems like Lamine Yamal has been inspiring a lot of people - I just posted a part of his story today as well.
What a wonderful example of love for the family!
I noticed in the current Euro matches, especially in the matches of the big teams with the small teams, it is a small detail that helps the big teams to prevail.
Small teams are mostly in the midblock or low block stages, so they can adjust their defensive organization, spread, and then offensive shifts.
But the detail of the task is the presence of high-quality players in the ball during possession, especially in the stages that we mentioned above detail, which is one of the basics that remain in the players of class A basic need.
- Receiving in tight spaces:
Here we see Dani Olmo is receiving in a narrow space and with a body position that allows him to protect the ball and give him a space through which he can pass, everyone watched Gündoğan in matches with the national team.
In the match between Spain and Albania, here is nothing different from the quality of Gündoğan in detail itself, otherwise the goal of Spain is the product of the basics of football (delivery - receipt - termination), here is delivery through Laporte who owns Ball playing quality in that he makes a long bus and who helps him that he can first play the bus and then Dani moved himself to create a space for himself away from the Albanian defender

Everton Football Club is in mourning following the death of Chairman Bill Kenwright CBE, who passed away peacefully last night aged 78, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
I am unaware of any wearable device research that supports the claim WHOOP has made about entering a flow state.
A flow state is very subjective and doesn’t happen all the time. A flow state takes an extreme amount of awareness and often times it’s seems to just happen and trying makes it harder to enter because you are focused on the wrong thing in the moment.
WHOOP can you please provide research that supports your claim of the athlete entering a flow state at that exact moment and your wearable device can measure entering a flow state? This will be groundbreaking to say the least.
I believe what we are seeing in this picture is an elite athlete in peak cardio fitness recovering post final whistle. In a (2017) study researchers have shown elite athletes have a cardio recovery rate of 23 beats in one minute, 53 beats in two minutes, and 82 beats in three minutes.
Without speaking with this athlete it is fair to say this athlete has a high level of fitness and an understanding how to control HR.
To make the claim of your wearable device measuring the entering of a flow state is wild. Please share your evidence.

Do you ever feel your heart race and stomach tighten up when you're stressed or nervous? Like in interviews, presentations – these situations can make anyone feel on edge!
This is your body's "fight-or-flight" response kicking in. It's helpful in real danger, but not so much for presentations! This response makes your heart beat faster and tenses your muscles.
Deep breathing really helps me in stressful situations!
When I take 10 deep belly breaths feels like switching gears on a bike.
I can actually feel myself calming down. My heart slows, my breathing steadies, and the stress melts away. I feel focused, alert and ready.
As you can see here, Cristiano Ronaldo use deep breathing to control stress! You can see him before free kicks and penalties – taking deep breaths to help him control his heart rate and enter a calm, focused state.
Feeling nervous is normal, it's part of being human. But sometimes it is better to be focused and alert than nervous and jittery.
For me, deep breathing is such a simple and powerful tool to overcome my anxious survival brain.
So next time you're feeling stressed, take a few deep breaths and channel your inner Ronaldo!
