Close-knit care for a colorful community: Whitman-Walker Health’s new Max Robinson Center celebrates the spirit, resilience, and promise of Southeast Washington, D.C., by expanding care and promoting inclusivity in community health.   The center opened less than a year ago and made an immediate impact. Nearly doubling Whitman-Walker’s capacity, the new healthcare and research facility is on track to provide life-saving care and support services to over 20,000 LGBTQ+, minority, and at-risk patients annually.   It marks our third collaboration with Whitman-Walker, and the design team took inspiration from the nonprofit’s commitment to the communities it serves—reflected in their motto, “We See You.” We’re deeply moved by Whitman-Walker’s mission and honored to contribute to creating purposeful spaces that help destigmatize healthcare for LGBTQ+ and marginalized groups. What an inspiring project! It's heartening to see increased capacity for life-saving care, reflecting the organization's mission. Kudos to the design team for creating a space that fosters belonging and dignity. This is how thoughtful design truly impacts community health.

I like the use of coloro not only for its emotional (calming, relaxing, energizing,…) effects, but also for it’s role in way finding. Beautiful and purpose driven projects!!
