📈 New Insights on Workplace Dynamics 📈 A recent survey by The Conference Board reveals that in-office work may fast-track your career! 10% of CHROs plan to prioritize promotions for fully on-site workers, while hybrid employees might also face setbacks. 😬 But there's good news! Work location won’t impact job compensation. Few HR leaders are offering higher pay for on-site work. 💰 "Treating hybrid and remote employees equitably is crucial for engagement and retention," says Diana Scott of The Conference Board US Human Capital Center. 🤝 #WorkplaceTrends #EmployeeEngagement #HybridWork #RemoteWork #CareerGrowth

Remote and hybrid work arrangements are proving to be more effective for employee retention, according to the Reimagined Workplace 2023 Survey by The Conference Board. The study found that employers with mandated on-site policies struggled more with retaining workers than those that did not. The survey of 185 human capital leaders revealed that 71% of respondents from companies with mandatory return to office policies found retaining workers difficult, compared to only 46% of firms that offered employees a choice. The study also found that voluntary turnover among fully on-site workers increased by 26% over the last six months, twice the rate of increase among fully remote workers. https://lnkd.in/gddag9VA As reported by @Paul Mulholland in PLANSPONSOR #employeeretention #emplyeebenefits #employeewellbeing

I heard this report on NPR's Marketplace last night. It's not surprising to me at all. While there are companies, and functions, that require on-site workers, my personal experience has been that allowing hybrid or remote work boosts morale and contributes to employee work-life-balance, which translates to happy workers who wish to contribute to the company's bottomline while doing so. Great talent is easier to find as well. #companies #employees #hr #hybridwork #remotework #revenue #talent #workers

Remote and hybrid work arrangements are more effective for employee retention, according to the @Reimagined Workplace 2023 Survey, published Tuesday by the The Conference Board. The survey of 185 human capital leaders found that employers with mandated on-site policies find it more difficult to retain workers than those that do not. Seventy-one percent of respondents representing companies with mandatory return to the office policies said retaining workers was “difficult” compared to 46% of firms with an employee choice who said the same. “There is some indication that voluntary turnover may be linked to work location,” Conference Board researchers wrote. “[V]oluntary turnover among fully on-site workers has increased 26% in the last six months, twice the rate of increase among fully remote workers, at 13%.” https://lnkd.in/dyDQwdjD #remotework #workfromhome #employeeturnover #employeebenefits

There is a lack of consensus between employers and employees regarding remote working. In a recent survey, over 50% of employers said they didn't think the working mode could boost employee retention. On the other hand, 78% of female workers named remote working and the liberty to choose work schedules as their top work benefits. In addition, over 3 quarters of male and female workers said working remotely made them work more productively. What do you think? Remote resistance ⚔ This HRDirector.net article looks at a new survey revealing the demand for hybrid work models among UK professionals 🧑💼 Interestingly, 51% would forego pay raises for desired flexible working 🏠 But there seems to be a disconnect between employer and employee expectations: despite worker preferences, 60% of British companies are urging staff to increase their in-office presence 🏢 Employers must strike the balance between flexibility and practicality.
