Wow! Dorothy Hoffner, 104, set a Guinness World Record as the oldest person in the world to skydive. Born in 1918, Hoffner had survived both the Spanish flu and Covid-19 pandemics. My Dad passed away five years ago, and he really taught me to have a no-regret policy, which has become a guiding principle for me. I never want to look back in life and say, ‘Shoulda woulda coulda,’ and I never want to miss the moments that matter. He really instilled those values in me and taught me to live life with meaning and importance. Dorothy is certainly living life to the fullest!

Global Sales Manager / Product Manager / Leadership / Bridging the connection between people, product, and success.
What's stopping you from doing something that scares you? This woman broke the Guinness World Record as the oldest person in the world to skydive at 104 years old! The takeaway from this post is that you must get out there and do those things that scare you because time is too short. 💪 You want to get in shape but are scared to go to the gym? Everyone starts somewhere. Buy some dumbbells and watch a few YouTube videos to feel comfortable with yourself and the exercises. If you can, get an app that breaks down machines and exercises. If you're like me, sometimes a new outfit helps you feel more confident when feeling less secure. 💻 Want to start a business but scared to fail? Imagine yourself 5 years from now. Where do you want to be? Where do you want to work? How do you want your business to look? Then, from that 5-year vision, break down a timeline with steps to reach that vision. It's just a start, but it will get you motivated. 👭 Want to make new friends but afraid to network? Start small. Look for groups online that you are passionate about. A hobby, a favorite place, pets, children, or anything you feel comfortable with. You don't have to meet people, but can contribute online until you feel comfortable enough. It's easier when it's not face-to-face, but you'll find people with whom you have something in common. You could also volunteer with a local group; not only do you meet new people, you do something good for the community! We may not all get 104 years, and we definitely won't get it with all the people we love. So take that fear, break it down, and start something. Start doing things that will take you right to where you see yourself in 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, or whatever it takes. Start small. All it takes is one step forward. #onestepforward #startsmall #lifeadvice #guinnessworldrecord #lifeisshort
