PENCIL has placed nearly 500 Ladders for Leaders interns in their paid summer employment! Shannon Kaidoo-Patrick, Senior Director of Learning and Career Development at MJHS Health System, shared her experience as an intern supervisor with us: “As the managing director for the program, it is important to me to not only identify the right talent but also to ensure our organization provides these young adults with knowledge, guidance, and support they can take with them into a successful future (hopefully in healthcare 😊). PENCIL Celebrates #PrideMonth by Honoring Inspiring LGBTQIA+ Corporate Leaders!   Meet Keisha Bell, Managing Director, Head of Talent Management, and DEI at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). Keisha, a founding leader of DTCC's LGBTQA network, was recognized by OUTstanding in 2020 as one of the Top LGBT+ Executives.   Jen Carter Manager & Head of Tech & Volunteering Teams at Google, serves on the Executive Advisory Board for Lesbians Who Tech & Allies, an organization dedicated to achieving pay equity and representation for women, women of color, and nonbinary leaders.   Rafael Ferrari (He,Him), Innovation & Ventures Partner & Inclusion LGBTQ+ Sponsor at Deloitte, is the visionary behind Deloitte Brazil’s LGBTQ+ group. His efforts have impacted over 1,500 individuals and mobilized more than 150 volunteers.   Chris Mossiah, Executive Director at JPMorganChase, sits on the Board of Directors for Out & Equal, advocating for LGBTQ+ workplace equity, inclusion, and belonging, and Lesbians Who Tech & Allies.   These remarkable leaders, who identify as LGBTQIA+, inspire students and represent companies that support PENCIL's mission of connecting students to success.
