One of the odd pleasures I get when traveling is beating my own record for “time getting from home to sitting in my airplane seat”. Last Monday, with school out and no traffic, I achieved an all-time record of 31 minutes from “home to seat” on an early morning flight to Orlando at DCA Gate B19. Even more delightful, was being able to time my Starbucks mobile order (right after CLEAR and before security) for pick up at Gate B22 without missing a beat. If Starbucks when you travel makes you happy, you’re going to love our new collaboration! Now, you can earn points and stars on eligible purchases at participating Starbucks locations and Marriott Bonvoy properties. Join both programs, link your accounts, and open the door to free hotel stays, delightful coffee treats, and handpicked travel experiences! ⭐️ https://lnkd.in/exMtd9s8
Excited about this partnership and you’re right, there’s nothing like the satisfaction of a perfectly timed Starbucks mobile order in an airport!
Some things just go well together! They are currently 51 Marriott employees in our community. 💚❤️
If I can go from buying Starbucks to checking into a Marriott within a certain timeframe, will I get additional Bonvoy points? 😉 😄
Impressive! I need to work on my numbers--I only managed 46 minutes from my front door to my gate this morning (including parking the car off-site) but didn't manage to pull off the caffeine pickup at my gate 😭. Guess I'll need to wait until I get to my hotel to get my Starbucks fix and earn my double stars! ⭐⭐
No joke, I've probably picked the Delta flight over other flights back to MCO from DCA because that Starbucks is always on point.
I love this post - it is the small things!
31 minutes!?! You must have caught every green light along the way and lucky enough to be in pre-boarding or boarding group 1. Maybe you can achieve a new record if you have your first cup of coffee at home or on your drive in. Nice going Peggy - love this collaboration!
I feel this!! Nothing more satisfying than gamifying travel! ⏳ What an amazing partnership between two fabulous brands. Can't wait until they open the Starbucks at BUR (my home airport)!
Bravo! Such a great partnership — love that luggage tag too! The little details do make a big impact.

1moI love this partnership so much! I know exactly when to place my mobile order so it's ready when I get through security at SeaTac, and I introduced one of my Marriott colleagues to the joy of mobile ordering during a business trip last month. He was going to miss breakfast because the line was so long, and this Seattle girl doesn't let friends go un-caffeinated!
