Amarjit, a 24-year-old from Bihar, only completed his education upto the 10th grade. His journey began at his parent's pan shop, where he learned the value of hard work and perseverance. Seeking new experiences, Amarjit left Bihar for Hyderabad, where he joined Rapido as a Delivery Rider. For five years, he navigated the busy streets. His next stop was Delhi, where he became an Auto Driver, navigating the chaotic streets and enjoying spontaneous conversations with passengers. Then, in Mumbai, he worked as a Pizza Delivery Rider, learning the importance of teamwork in a bustling kitchen. Meanwhile, his brother was working in another city, and the distance made them both feel homesick. They frequently travelled home to Bihar and realized how much they missed each other and their family. One day, his brother suggested they reunite in Bangalore. Excited by the idea, Amarjit agreed. In Bangalore, the brothers found a small apartment and started working with Blinkit as delivery riders. They explored the city together, discovering hidden gems and local eateries. Their favourite pastime was riding to Nandi Hills, enjoying the serene escape and having hot idlis on their way back. In Bangalore, Amarjit and his brother found a sense of belonging and solace in each other’s company and were driven by their shared dream of buying a home and a car for their parents. Despite the distance, they frequently travelled back to Bihar, staying connected to their family. Their journey, marked by challenges and new beginnings, was a testament to their resilience and the unbreakable bond of family. #risersofindia #staffingsolutions #hiring

Traveling & staying across India’s diverse cities is an adventure, and a key part of the journey is knowing how to address auto drivers. Few of my personal experiences from Kolkata, Mumbai, Guwahati and Bangalore: Kolkata: Go with “Dada” or “Bhai” when addressing your auto driver. Avoid: Saying “Uncle” – trust me, you’ll get some playful taunts! I learned this the hard way when I tried it out, though he was too old to be called as Dada. Mostly sharing autos are available. Guwahati - Always over priced & hardly available, Toto's are better.'Dada' is best to get Toto. Mumbai: Winning Words: Stick with “Dada” or “Bhau” & always on Meter. Lesson Learned: I once used “Bhaiya” and got a memorable lesson on 'why not address him as a Bhaiya' from the driver himself. Bangalore: Respectful Route: “Sir” works wonders here. Why It Works: Despite my very limited Kannada knowledge, the drivers have always shown respect and even shared valuable lessons, like understanding of P&L on running a business as well. That was Uber Auto experience though. #Learnings #Bangalorestoies #stories #everydaysession

Life & Career Update: After spending the last decade moving from one metro to another, I’ve decided to move to Lucknow for the foreseeable future. While there’s a rational side to this decision, I’m just sticking to the fundamentals here—seeking my truth! I've lived away from home for almost 20 years now, and being closer to home makes the most sense to me right now. Apart from my self-professed love for the city, I truly believe in the immense potential of such sleeping beauties (read: giants). There are multitudes of problems to be solved. I'm starting with the education & tech sector. If you’re in Lucknow and wish to catch up on anything, I would love to talk. This image accurately captures what life has been like in Week 1.

This might sound rude but it is what it is. While coming back from office yesterday via Rapido, near HAL area in Bengaluru, an auto driver suddenly overtook our Rapido bike and started arguing with the driver regarding bike ride permission and all the stuff. Well the argument went too far and they started abusing each other, I simply gave the money and took bus from there onwards. In this LinkedIn post, I would like to remind #Karntaka_Government, once up on a time, "Mamta Banerjee" created issues for #TATA, well #TATA did not stop but people of Kolkata definitely lost thousands of employments. If #Karnataka government does not stop politicizing things, like free bees for some specific set of people or bike ride restriction to get vote from auto drivers, just before elections, the time is not far when maybe #Gujrat or some other place takes away the #SILICON_VALLEY tag from #Bengaluru. As soon as the elections will be over, all such support for local auto drivers will be gone, but the destruction of this tag might impact more and companies might start moving away. No company, be it #Rapido or whatever will want to fight with government for such political issues. And yeah, like I said at the top, what the hell does the auto drivers think? They want to earn in lakhs per month by riding auto? In that case, whole country can ride auto, it's no effort, just sit and drive an auto😠 There is good reason why brain work gets more valued in the whole world, and physical work is valued less, because everyone can do the physical work but not the mental work, it's needs years of study and effort. Bengaluru needs to support companies before some other city does by better tax and other facilities. #Silicon_Valley_Loosing_Itself #Tech_Companies_Hub_Changing?

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐧 '𝐁𝐇' 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 & 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬? I saw this number plate recently with 'BH' written on it. My first thought was, what does it stand for - the first thing that came to my mind was Bhopal. But then I realized, Bhopal is not a state. So, what does it stand for? 𝐁𝐇 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 '𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭' 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 🚙 As a kid, I moved to quite a few cities since my dad kept having transfers. A lot of us have definitely been in that situation. Let's say you buy a vehicle in state A and get it registered, but after a couple of years, you move to a new state B. 🤔 What happens now? You have to get it re-registered in the city or state you migrate to. 🗣 "As per the Motor Vehicles Act, a passenger vehicle can be driven for a maximum of 12 months without transferring the registration to the new state. Once 12 months are completed, the owner will be required to transfer registration to the new state or face fines and penalties." 🚨 Re-registration of the vehicle is time-consuming, especially for people with transferable jobs. The MoRTH (Ministry of Road, Transport, and Highways) wanted to change this scenario and thus launched the Bharat Series number plates across the country in 2021. The Government of India introduced the BH Number Plate or Bharat Series Registration Number for non-transport vehicles in August 2021. The BH Series number plate removes the obligation of transferring vehicle registration after moving from one state to the other. Registration for the BH series commenced from 15th September 2021. But, but.......it's not for everyone!! 💡 Who can register for 'BH' Series Number Plate? 1. State and Central Government employees 2. Defense sector 3. Bank employees 4. Administrative services 5. Private firm employees who have offices in more than four States or Union Territories ✅ A great piece of advice I got from a friend - if your parents/siblings fall into one of these categories, buy the vehicle under their name.😁 Would you go for a 'BH' number plate? Let me know in Comments!!! Drop a LIKE ❤️ if it helps & Re-share! Do Follow me at Satyam Anand for more such posts! Keep hustling! Cheers🍺 #india #news #government #strategy #business #cars

Growing up in #Lucknow, my aspirations were simple – escape to a bigger city🌇attend a prestigious college🎓 become an engineer 🧑🏽💻 earn a comfortable living💰 and eventually move abroad ✈️ I thought this would bring me happiness. Spoiler Alert: It didn’t. In those streets of Lucknow, I experienced some of my most cherished memories. But my peers and I were caught in a relentless pursuit of financial security to realize it then. The realization of my aspirations did grant me access to the comforts and luxuries I had associated with happiness. But as the years passed, I learned there is a limit to how much wealth can truly satisfy the soul. I had unwittingly subscribed to a never-ending rat race, where the ROI was swiftly diminishing. During this period of self-discovery, I crossed paths with my future co-founders, Naveen Tewari, Amit Gupta, and Abhay Singhal. Together, we embarked on an entrepreneurial journey devoid of expectations... In fact, I was 90% sure we would fail. I didn’t care. I was neither chasing nor proving anything to anyone but myself. I became impervious to any and all external benchmarks and unlocked a world of possibilities where I became the master of my own destiny. Eventually, I developed a sure-shot method to test whether I am being true to myself or performing to meet someone else’s expectations: Honest Retrospection. This is a self-reflection practice that always brings me closer to my authentic self, helping me navigate life with a sense of purpose. How often do you contemplate your own journey? How do you ensure that your journey is your own and not a reflection of external expectations and competitions? #Authenticity #GrowthJourney #Retrospective

Being independent! An interesting topic to bring up from my experience. I often heard people staying alone being considered as independent, primarily because they are away from family and not dependent on them, I assume. When I started staying alone in Faridabad (far from my hometown Jabalpur), away from my family, I thought I am finally independent. But was I? I was scared to even cross the road at times. Till my engineering degree course I was operating from home in a secured environment. Every small need was being understood and the legitimate ones got met. By and large I was a compliant child. But while staying alone, so many things had to be figured out. Wasn't as outspoken as I became, later. Hardly shared my feelings with people. Was pretty social, but my core was only mine. I trusted every person and was backbitten by a few to my surprise. And they were from highly respectable backgrounds. They were qualified, but were not educated enough, I believe. Soon I realized I am only staying alone. I need to learn to be independent. That's when I started observing people closely. Their behaviors, patterns, so that I could respond to each appropriately. Be polite yet firm. Strike back strongly if needed. I started becoming vocal about my needs, my opinions, likes, dislikes which were of course based on data. Met lovely guides on this journey, who helped increase my confidence and conviction to find myself. Started breaking a few old patterns and making my own choices in life, yet rooted in the values that were so ingrained in me. I had started becoming a personality that was inwardly different, winning one fear at a time .....and I finally became independent in a few years time. I became mentally stronger and clearer than I was. To me being independent is a mindset and not a physical state! It's not important to be alone, to be independent, as I learnt from my experience. #independant #independent #confidence #clarity #alone #lifeexperiences

In 2021, I started a journey that changed my life. It all began at my father's real estate company, "Yash Laxmi Enterprises," in Patna, Bihar. I didn't expect this to have such a big impact on me. When I look back at that year, I remember how I started as a learner at the company. I was curious and wanted to learn about real estate. But things turned out differently than I thought. In a short time, I got really involved in the company's work. I was so interested that I didn't even notice time passing. I learned about property development, market trends, and how customers think. In just a year, a lot changed. I went from being a learner to leading a team. This team had architects, construction workers, legal experts, and others. It was a big responsibility, but it was also exciting. Being a leader made me love working together, coming up with new ideas for buildings, and making a shared vision come true. This change was like starting a new part of my life. Leading my team helped me realise that I could make a difference. I could improve the city by creating new homes and buildings in Patna. This was something I hadn't thought about before, but it became a passion. Looking back, this journey is a memory that gives me strength. It showed me that even unexpected choices can lead to wonderful experiences. It taught me to welcome new paths and uncertainties. This journey is proof that empowerment isn't just about what you know, but also about seizing opportunities in specific fields. It reminds me that when you combine passion with unexpected chances, you can create something powerful. In the world of real estate, this was a turning point that I'll always remember. My first post-grad job was installing lifts on the 28th floor of a new building. No fancy lifts back then, just stairs and sweat. The company was new in India, and things weren't exactly smooth. Frustrated and yearning for a better fit, I left. Next, I dove into the world of software in Bangalore. But the early 2000s internet was a beast, and SaaS was barely a glimmer in the eye. Unfortunately, the company couldn't weather the storm and shut down. For years, I explored different industries, searching for that "click" moment. Finally, automation called to me, and I found VDeal Systems in Odisha. It wasn't easy – major setbacks, especially during COVID, threatened to derail us. But we persevered, fueled by relentless passion and hard work. Looking back, those early stumbles were crucial stepping stones. They taught me resilience, adaptability, and the power of never giving up on your dreams. It may seem like you're miles from your destiny, but every step, every detour, shapes your path. Trust in the process. VDEAL SYSTEM PVT LTD might not be what it is today without those 5 years of exploration. So, to the person feeling lost, remember: your future is bright, and hard work mixed with a little patience can take you to unimaginable heights. #learnings #jobexperience #business #passion #software #engineering #linkedin

Reflecting back on my journey with the Delhi Metro, from my early days in 2012 to now in 2024, it's been quite a ride! 🚇 Initially, I was in awe of its convenience and affordability, coming from Patna to Delhi. Fast forward to 2019 when I got my first bike, yet I still found myself opting for the metro for longer distances like Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Gr. Noida. Why? Here are my top reasons: 1. Less traffic: No more worrying about getting stuck in jams! 2. One-time reach: It takes me straight to my destination without multiple transfers. 3. Easy travel with AC: Especially appreciated during Delhi's scorching summers! 4. Food court: Snack time on the go? Sorted! 5. Connecting with lots of people: It's like a mini melting pot of Delhi's diverse population. 6. Less traveling expenses: Saving money while commuting? Count me in! The Delhi Metro isn't just a mode of transportation; it's been a part of my Delhi experience, offering convenience, comfort, and community along the way. 🌟 #DelhiMetro #CommuteInStyle #Memories
