Marshall Friday appreciation post. I’m sure I’m not the first to make one of these, but this guy is something special. I met Marshall when I joined the ADT Multifamily team as a bdm, he was Head of Sales at the time. Since then, we have both moved to different orgs and a certain ONE of us left the industry…. But to no surprise, Marshall hasn’t changed a bit. Wether it’s smart locks or walls, this guy can sell 😂 We workshopped some objections, troubleshooted my pitch deck and caught up on life. Here’s a paraphrased version of my biggest takeaway from our call: 👕 “How do you handle the objection: This is too good to be true?” 💐👕🌺 “By getting more buy in throughout the presentation. Rather than building excitement the whole way through until they say “this can’t be true,” get a few “yes”’s through the process so that by the end of the deck, they not only believe it but they have imagined themselves using it and require no convincing.” If you aren’t already connected with this guy, and you need some Hawaiian color in your life, check him out!!
