Hi friends and colleagues, I am #opentowork and excited to get back into the tech industry. Early this year, I put forth my skills and efforts towards a totally different industry: staffing. Fortunately (not a typo), I was laid off and learned a handful of lessons in the process. Experiencing my first lay off has certainly been a whirlwind of emotions. I entered the work force at the age of 14 and worked multiple jobs supporting myself through undergrad but was never let go from any company. Surprisingly, I felt a wave of relief as I truly believe the layoff was God closing that door for me. I've taken time to consider what I really want to do and where I want to be which is assisting clients and colleagues in tech. Prior to jumping into the staffing industry early this year, I managed a high-performing Renewals team at a SaaS company ($100M+ in revenue) and worked closely with the top strategic accounts. Renewals is my niche and I've experienced a ton of success (Performance Club Winner) in my previous roles which is one of the many reasons I'd like to jump back into Renewals. In all of my previous roles, I have been the secret sauce within my organization: an innovator that understands my clients and teams on a people level. People are what motivates me and I'm a true blue on the SDI scale. I've excelled in the Customer Success organization and am open to Customer Success roles outside of Renewals as well. Last week I got laid off. This week I did a mental reset in nature. While abrupt changes are never easy, I always find that when one door closes a much better one opens. Is there a secret sauce I am missing when it comes to applying and getting hired for jobs? I use Huntr - To keep track of applications and auto-fill. Apollo.io - for backdoor hiring (messaging the Hiring Manager) Go EmailTracker - to track my emails Vidyard - to send video messages (before and after) I also have a 30-second intro that follows Sandler Sales Ideology and also use frameworks for 30 Minutes to President's Club Am I missing something? #Help #Jobseeking #opentowork
