Attended a fabulous AI for Writers Summit hosted by Marketing AI Institute yesterday, which had Paul Roetzer lead with "Who do you write for? Your audience or you?" If it's just the former, then AI is a threat, but if it's the latter, opportunity abounds. Other great takeaways: - we're all still just beginning, so don't worry about being too late - experiment with multiple LLMs and AI platforms to figure out which best suits your use cases - AI can help build better prompts - do unto AI as you would have AI do unto you i.e. be kind Lots of awesome content on AI tools, use cases and legal considerations followed. They advise that AI will not take jobs from humans, but it will take over different tasks. The 6 ways generative AI is used for marketing: Generation, Extraction, Summarization, Rewriting, Question-answering, and Classification. Here at IPSM, we've been using ChatGPT for question-answering, extraction, and generation! It has been a great tool to help us with client or blog research (asking it to cite all articles or information used, of course) and for brainstorming content calendars and Instagram captions! Last month, I had the privilege of moderating a session with Paul Roetzer, CEO and founder of the Marketing AI Institute. Paul is such an engaging speaker, I could have spoken with him for hours! Sadly, we had a time limit, but with AI already changing everything we do, both in our professional lives and at home, how are you preparing for what lies ahead? Louder!!! We're tired of AI-driven marketing. It's like hiring an assistant to help you internally. You cannot put it in charge of the end consumer or expect it to have all the insights and secrets that've been gained by understanding and building relationships with your end consumer. Even if AI gives you a step-by-step strategy, somebody still has to implement it and do so well!!!

Unpopular opinion: When it comes to using AI (in my business, at least) ✅ AI is great for marketing, coming up with ideas, and helping to create content. Anything that is for promotion, marketing, and pre-sales. ❌ My actual courses and products are things I put a lot of work into and use very light AI help to get them over the finish line. As everything shifts to "AI this", "AI that"... The human element is becoming more valuable, especially in the end product.
