Let’s talk about this headline: AI Will Replace 95% of Creative Marketing Work.
In his new book, Creator of ChatGPT Sam Altman said, “It will mean that 95% of what marketers use agencies, strategists, and creative professionals for today will easily, nearly instantly and at almost no cost be handled by the AI.”
This headline is a bold prediction, and we respectfully disagree.
While we agree that AI makes marketers and creatives better, we don’t think it will replace them to this predicted degree.
People need to know what to tell AI, assess and verify the output of AI, and have a creative eye to align AI output with brand messaging, values, and design.
We enjoy the support and benefits AI will bring to the marketing industry, but we don’t think it’s yet ready to replace the creativity and strategic minds of humans.
