Good overview between SysML v1x and v2.x, it looks like OMG has made some great modernization enhancements, particularly with the establishment of a standard API. This video is worth the time if you are not following this major update and will need to migrate from SysML v1.x to v2. 😎 https://lnkd.in/g4EA5sVG

HELM TEMPLATE When tasked with creating a Helm template for a secret component linking to a private DockerHub image repository, I approached it with a reverse engineering mindset. Here's my solution: 1. Establishing Connection to Private Image Repository Begin by creating a Secret and providing credentials via the command line: kubectl create secret docker-registry regcred \ --docker-server=<your-registry-server> \ --docker-username=<your-name> \ --docker-password=<your-pword> \ --docker-email=<your-email> Refer to this link for details. 2. Executing Verification Commands Next, execute the following commands as outlined in the provided link: CMD 1 kubectl get secret regcred --output=yaml CMD 2 apiVersion: v1 kind: Secret metadata: name: regcred data: .dockerconfigjson: eyJodHRwczovL2luZGV4L ... J0QUl6RTIifX0= type: https://lnkd.in/eEHn75ye See my complete solution here https://lnkd.in/eUkY9_8S

Towards Essence 2.0: Removing Engineering Limitations Five years ago, the Object Management Group's (OMG) Unified Modeling Language™, UML, enhanced modeling efficiency in software-intensive systems and continues to be used by engineers worldwide today. Many now consider that OMG's Essence standard and its updated 2.0 version will have an even more significant global impact because it can be integrated into every facet of the engineering process. It goes beyond software engineering to include all engineering processes. This webinar provides an overview of the intent of Essence v2.0 and how to get involved in this latest version. Conditionals and loops are fundamental constructs in programming that enable you to control the flow of execution in your programs, allowing for dynamic decision-making and iterative processing of data. In this segment, we explore conditional statements which allow you to execute different blocks of code based on the evaluation of certain conditions. You'll learn how to effectively use these constructs to create decision branches in your programs, enabling them to respond intelligently to varying situations. #TechAxis #LearnFirstToLeadTheRest #conditionals #loops https://lnkd.in/dGbyrsah

NANOG has released the videos from NANOG-91. Here are some picks I recommend from an array of outstanding talks. Your Automation Journey: From Scripting to Intent This is my talk on what the real difference between scripting and intent are, and how to get there in product agnostic terms. https://lnkd.in/gg5-fdTT Tutorial: Network Automation in Light of Model Driven Management İlker A. and Mauricio Rojas discuss YANG data modeling, JSON and XML formatted data and shows open source automation of configuration management, service provisioning, and network monitoring. https://lnkd.in/g7mFR2tX A Simplified Data Center Network Protocol for Folded-Clos Topology Nirmala Shenoy shows how a relatively simple, special purpose protocol could replace the combination of BGP/ECMP/BFD for DC networks. Very interesting work! https://lnkd.in/g_DBnHAv Weighing Options with Prometheus and gNMI Mauricio Rojas again with: Exploring integration options: - gNMIc - Prometheus client library (i.e. Python) - Exporter installed directly in Network Element - Unified Telemetry Model (NMS or SDN) Dissect advantages and challenges of each option. Selecting the best monitoring solution based on network needs and resources. https://lnkd.in/g-ugGaRq
